We're only accepting TWENTY, so if you're dog already has it's CGC & you have the PTO application ready to go, get it to ME asap. At the Bi-Annual Dinner, PTO paid tribute to two of its remarkable community partners.

Hannah Parker accepted the plaque on behalf of Springfield Missouri Dog Training Club, acknowledging its long-standing commitment to PTO.

Ladina Vanzant accepted a plaque for one of our newer community partners, Misti Fry with Springfield Sidekick Dog Training.

Harry visited folks at The Manor at Elfindale on 11/11/2025, representing Pet Therapy of the Ozarks PTO. We especially make sure to visit folks in memory care, and they make us feel welcome and valued. We hope our visits bring a bit of joy to their day. While we were there, Harry posed with a puzzle. Too bad he lacks opposable thumbs. And he posed with some fishies, too. They didn't hold still for the photo op as well as he did.

The recipient of the 2025 Caring & Sharing Award Volunteer of the Year is Mark Mierkowski.

Mark and Reed visit numerous facilities, bringing smiles and comfort to all they meet.

Mark and Reed joined PTO in the Fall of 2023, just two short years ago. In that time, they have made nearly 375 visits!

You can find Mark at almost every event we have, encouraging others and spreading good cheer.

Reed, a Golden Retriever, is always dressed for success in a cute bandana or hat.

Thank you, Mark and Reed (and Joan!), for serving the Ozarks!

Twice a year we gather, as an organization, to celebrate new teams. These new teams have trained and prepared, and qualified through a very thorough testing process. We are very proud of their dedication to serve their community, and especially thankful they are now members of PTO!

Twenty, yes twenty, new teams will start making visits to facilities immediately, directly impacting those we serve.

Please join us in congratulating the Fall Class of 2025!
