Brady boy has graduated!! 🥳🐾 (long post ahead)

•• If I could only use two words to describe this family and their dog, they would be determined and resilient! Brady’s family was prepared to do whatever was needed to be better leaders for their canine companion.

They juggled kids sports schedules, crazy work travel, caring for their senior dog Baxter, and still committed time to work with Brady and his training. Halfway through training, unfortunately Baxter passed away. Losing a furry family member is never easy, and as a trainer, this was the first time I witnessed a family navigate such a loss during the training process. I was deeply inspired by their strength and dedication as they grieved Baxter while continuing to focus on Brady’s growth.

Through all the highs and lows, this family showed unwavering love and dedication to their pack. Brady is now thriving because of their hard work, and I couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve accomplished together. It’s been an honor to be part of their journey!

Zoey has completed her board and train program! 🎉 I’m beyond proud of this girl and how much she has accomplished over the past 3 weeks. Good things must come to an end though, but I know she’ll continue to be her best back at home! ❤️

Luna’s favorite day of the week is Monday, cause she knows the treat lady is coming by! 😁🦴

•• Luna is a kelpie mix that was adopted a year ago by her owners. They reached out for training to work on Luna’s reactivity towards people and dogs on leash. We’ve been focusing on Luna’s heel command and teaching her new ones for her owners to use next time they have visitors! She’s a fast learner and VERY food motivated, so we’ve been having a blast during lessons!

Here’s a sweet strawberry to help get you through the week! 🥰🍓

•• Strawberry is half way through her training and we’re upping the challenge! Strawberry’s biggest struggle is being around cats. Her owners have been taking all the appropriate steps for a slow introduction, but cats are a foreign idea for berry and she doesn’t know what else to do but bark. We plan to introduce the two house cats soon to help Strawberry coexist with her feline friends. 🐱

•• This big ham started private lessons last week to get some much needed guidance on how to be the best boy around people and dogs! It’s not that he’s defiant or not listening; he just doesn’t know any other way. For the next 5 weeks Irwin will learning some obedience commands to help him prosper in the future with his owner and pack! 👏🏼
