Sweet words from Luno's mom, a young adult who literally grew up with her soul cat.

This year has been so devastating with his presumptive diagnosis, I was so scared a tragic ending would color our beautiful story together. You helped create a beautiful ending for our beautiful story and I thank you for that.

Words cannot describe how much easier you made the experience for me. Your words and guidance through the process provided me with peace and closure. When we had to euthanize my oldest dogs at the vet's office, I was a sobbing mess both times. Seeing how calm and comfortable my cat was though allowed me to focus on all the love I feel for him. As hard as it is to say goodbye, it genuinely could not have gone any better, and it was exactly what I wanted for my best friend of 18 years. Thank you so much.

This is one of my favorite sentiments, and if I have had the honor of helping you there is a good chance you heard a variation of this come out of my mouth.
Endings are one of the most important parts of a story, and I firmly believe that the feelings you carry with you surrounding that last day will be a part of that being's legacy.
I am so grateful to be able to wrap the legacy of a life well loved in a glowing cloak for you to carry with you.

As Chester fell into a blissful final slumber, his 4 legged sister Dixie decided to reach over and touch him. I want to think that it was her way of sensing his energy shift into comfort. "I'll take care of mom, you rest." 🥹🐾

In cherished memory of Baloo.
Baloo had 2 moms that did everything for him. He was a beautiful boy, and even though he was classified as a Husky, I would bet money that he is a wolf hybrid.
When their sweet boy was down in pain, his moms trusted me to come and help them. His parents had been prepared to muzzle him, but Baloo and I had some sort of cosmic agreement that I was there to help him and his moms on the day they needed care the most. This usually reactive boy instantly trusted me and didn't react at all to my petting him. When I gave him the good stuff (and like a true wolf hybrid I had to top him off with more meds), he didn't flinch or turn his head. As grateful as his parents were to me for making his last moments more than they imagined, I am thankful that they trusted me. Good boy, Baloo. 🐾

The view from my side of sweet Dash's farewell.
This was the second time I had met Dash. When I first came to help his mother pass earlier this year, I remember him sitting by a tree watching us drive off with just the most pure energy.
Sweet Dash got his name because he was the neighborhood mascot that would dash around. He truly is one of the sweetest, most social cats that I could remember meeting.
His farewell was purring in his human mom's lap, free of any discomfort or anxiety. I took a leaf from the tree he loved sitting under as his piece of eternal home.

The view from my side of Smudge's fond farewell.
Sweet Smudge was his parent's baby, and led a life well loved. He would love to ride on his dad's shoulders, and would even play fetch! When he developed a pancreatic tumor, his parents tried everything they could to keep him comfortable.
This pure soul purred the whole time he was falling asleep (he even purred when I poked him with my meds) as his parents loved him into eternal slumber.
Good boy, Smudge. 💜🐾
