Our unique training program was developed over decades and was heavily influenced by the challenges encountered in real world deployments. The Tin Star K9 staff has over 80 years of law enforcement experience combined, 40+ years of that being in criminal investigations and missing persons. Our staff knows what it takes to be successful when deploying your dog. At Tin Star K9, we train where we work. A percentage of all training is conducted in wooded, rural, and minimally populated areas, but the vast majority of the training is conducted in heavily populated urban areas where the bulk of deployments occur. Tin Star K9 offers a variety dogs such as bloodhounds, retrievers, and pointers to suit your organization's needs. Our bloodhounds and retrievers are all scent discriminant man-trailing dogs that will far exceed the standards set by SWGDOG, NAPWDA, and NPBA.
