We harvested Tromboncino squash this morning. Even the large 5 pounder is tender. We will have a limited number for sale Wednesday and Friday. $2.50 per pound. Average weight is 2 pounds. We use only organic or heirloom seeds and organic growing practices. We can do a no contact meet up in Columbia or Spring Hill.

Wow, we have been busy with our inoculated mushroom production. We have inoculated over 90 logs. We are selling a few extra oyster logs. We have double/ triple inoculated the logs to encourage quick fruiting. We have Snow, Blue, Golden, and Italian ready for delivery. Pricing:$25.00 for a small, $35.00 for medium, and $45.00 for a large.

Fins, Feathers, and Flowers is offering pre-inoculated mushroom logs in very limited quantities! Our logs will start producing ready-to-eat mushrooms as soon as this summer and fall and will continue to produce for up to 2-6 years depending on size. We’ve already done all of the hard work for you, the only care needed is making sure the log gets an inch of water per week (whether that be by rainfall or you watering it) and that it makes it’s home in a shady part of your yard. They should produce approximately 4 flushes a year of mushrooms, 1/3lb-1lb per flush, depending on rainfall and care. Great project for teaching children about fungi and cultivation!

We are currently offering golden oyster, blue oyster, and snow oyster logs in limited quantities. Price varies by size of log:
-Small sized log: $25
-Medium sized log: $35
-Large sized log: $45

We will have My Fair Lady organically grown Sweet corn within the next week. We started with organic seeds and use only organic practices.

We will also have Pencil corn, Hickory Cane, and organic Pennsylvania Butter Popcorn as they mature.
