DELAY IN LITTER

Hello Everyone! Our most recent pairing of rats have not produced any pregnancies. We will be trying the female with another one of our males.

We apologize for delays, but in order to ensure the health of our rats and their pups, we will not be able to rehome pups until they are the correct age and have passed the health screening, this means they l won’t be ready in March as anticipated.

Please feel free to direct message us with any concerns or questions.

Thank you!

Still looking for homes for three lovely foster boys! Would do great with older rats. They come with their favorite hide! They are all top ear, black and white, two smooth coats and a Rex!

We have been fostering them for three months, and they would make great beginner rats for anyone wanting to step their toes into owning rats. Please message us for more details!

Update to the litters of 2022

Good evening everyone; we have some good news and some bad news.

The good news is; we have four new rats to add to our pet breeding rotation and all four of them are Harley Rats. “Harleys” are a coat variety that has long straight hair; giving them a fluffier appearance than most standard rats. So there will be some new coat varieties coming from Malady Rattery!

However with the happy news, comes some unfortunate news. Our star momma Kiki is officially retired! She will spend her retirement with the mischief she grew up with! This means however that For those on our waitlist, unfortunately that means we won’t be having babies for a while yet; as we are waiting for the three Harley girls to reach 3 months of age. So we will be breeding them at the end of April!

In other news we also have three foster boys ready for a new home. They are Atticus and his two nephews, who we have taken to calling Spade and Potter. If you are interested in adopting the three of them please message us! All three must go together and will come with a small bit of food and a hide from their original home.

We are sorry for the delay. But I hope everyone has a great evening.

Pictures below is our male Harley, his name is Burfy, he is not named after a poison or disease, but he is amazing.

Hello everyone, I am sorry to announce that our first litters of 2022 have been delayed due to an unexpected fertility problem with Chu. We deeply apologize for the delay! Especially to those on our waitlist; you have all been so wonderful!

As we stand we have paired Kiki and Peanut since Kiki has had enough rest between litters to safely produce a new one. We have also paired Peanut and Chu to see if they can get the job done. Unfortunately we won’t know for sure until we get back and weigh them.

In other news, we have five foster boys available for adoption!

There are four younger boys; three black and Berkshire, and one creamy blonde boy. Along with their Uncle Atticus, a black and white hooded Rex. We rescued them from a young woman who became very sick, and was no longer able to care for them, and due to the nature of her illness needed them rehomed asap. So we offered to take over for her so that she could focus on herself. Now that they are done with quarantine and are confirmed to be cold-free, we are officially announcing them on our page! We have a few requirements regarding their adoption, per request of their original owner:

Atticus, the oldest male must go with at least one of his nephews; he is bonded to them, and he has loved his boys since they moved in with him.

Second in order to maintain the bonded mischief, the boys must go at least in a pair. So there will not be any single males sold.

Third; as we did not produce these males nor have much history on their background, we cannot make many predictions about their life span, and one of them is bit more shy than the others. But they are all good boys, and our hope is to rehome them to people who will love them as the pets they were born to be.

Message the page for further details.

Have a fantastic day! And hopefully the next update will bring word of babies.

After thinking that this litter hadn’t inherited their grandfather’s genes this little guys molt had revealed a bald little head 😊

I’m fairly certain he is going to grow the fur back after his molt is done, ending up with very thin fur
