Local farmers were hosted for a day of education to learn rotational grazing techniques that improve soil health, reduce stormwater runoff from their farms, and increase small farmer profits. This full-day workshop with Jim Gerrish, grazing expert and consultant to farmers and ranchers worldwide, began with a presentation, offered a catered lunch by Beyond Organic made from local ingredients from Kenosha farms, and ended with hands-on demonstrations on Starry Nights Farm; a rotationally grazed farm in Burlington.

Growing Power has been building a hoop "shade" house with the Jaden Tap Tap Kodelit, the youth training program at Haiti's largest urban farm. Check out the video we took installing the hoops.
