Need something to keep your dog busy?

These Toppls are a great way to mentally stimulate, and wear your dog out a bit. The action of licking with dogs releases endorphins in the dogs brain. If your dog enjoys food/treats this will be a good one for them. Tip: Freeze them to last longer! I have 3 dogs, Max enjoys them almost completely frozen because he likes a challenge. Gunda and Zeus prefer them slightly frozen so it’s easier… they get bored easy so if something is too difficult in their opinion they just walk away from it lol

I think this maybe took me 25 min. to make 4 of these. Now it will last my dogs about 1-2 hrs.

For me a place command is one of the most important commands to have your dog learn!

Just one of the many uses is right now, having my dogs place on the porch while it is rainy out. I’m not evil. Every once in a while I let the dogs go at it and get all dirty and play in the mud. Today though I prefer cleaner paws🤣🐾. I’m reading on the porch while the dogs are enjoying some fresh air (with clean paws!).

Meet Marvin🐾 10 month old lab

Marvin came in at a million miles an hour. Always go go go! Anything and everything that Marvin crossed immediately became something Marvin believed belonged in his mouth🤣 He is a super smart pup and just needed a bit of guidance and a few manners!

Now Marvin is absolutely crushing it every week he continues to amaze his parents and I in lessons. I believe there is nothing he can’t accomplish. A huge part of lessons involves our pet parents! Luckily Marvin has some pretty awesome humans who really dedicate the time and really put forth a great effort to guide Marvin along and are super knowledgeable! Good job Marvin and humans!! Marvin’s great progress would not be where it is without them.

We place on everything around here🐾

Introducing some of my board and train and lesson clients using their place command! Also my pup and friends pup as well🐶

What is place? Place is any object that has defined edges and boundaries, and that your dog can safely fit and get on!

So many uses for place here are just a few:
1. confidence building- placing on objects that are different heights, textures, move around
2. when company arrives use place so guest can come in the door and not be bombarded!
3. when you need to grab groceries out of the car and leave the door open. send your dog to place!
4. need to get some chores done around the house without an extra set of helping paws🐾 send your dog to place!
5. does your dog need to wind down for a moment? give the dog a bone and send to place!

Needed to show off a few of my lesson clients💪 1st picture: Mike- German Shepherd puppy. Killing it with basic obedience. Mike likes to place on whatever he can fit on. 2nd picture: Phoenix- Sheepadoodle. Overly exited and no leash manners until now :) 3rd picture: Bear- St. Bernard. He’s a big baby bear just like his name. He will probably drown you in his slobber. Bear was an extreme leash puller, and easily distracted. We are working on distractions every lesson and seeing improvement!
