HAY! Come get some hay! It is very cold outside and if you have an outdoor dog they need some insulation in their dog house, we have you covered. Right now we only have a few bags out, but we will have more set out over the coming days. It’s first come first served so come out to Weatherford Animal Shelter at 605 S Access Road. Please do not touch the large stack of hay as we will be sitting more out as the winter months come.

Also, on Tuesday August 29th, we will be having a adoption event with the puppies available on that date at New Creation on Washington!! We will be waving the 25$ adoption fee as well.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I will no longer be the full time animal control officer for the city of Weatherford. It has been a great honor to serve the citizens of this community for the last 3 years and 9 months, but feel it is time to move on to further my career in law enforcement. Please be patient with all of our animal control officers while they transition into filling my position. My last day will be on Friday! Like I said it has truly been an honor to work with our community and I am grateful for all the support y’all have shown. Andrew 401
