Well we’ve been trying to figure out how to get Loretta a breakaway horse for her to start roping in. Seems the solution was in our pasture the whole time. Who knew? Now we start working
It’s always a good idea to get a young horse soft in the face and connecting his face to his feet prior to the introduction of the bit. It really saves a horse’s mouth during this part of the learning phase.
Building a soft, light and willing response is a process and contributes to a young horse’s overall foundation
This young horse has just under 30 rides on him. He’s doing great. If you’re looking for someone to start your young horse the right way making him light and soft and full of confidence please get a hold of me Vawter horsemanship. We’d be happy to help you with your young horse
Proud of this group! Our 3 year old is ponying our 5 year old so that our talented daughter can do what she loves!
This young mare is really coming along good in the calf roping. Her and I have gone through a whole lot together and it is such a blessing to have the opportunity work with her as she progresses. Not too long ago I wasn’t sure what her future would hold or if she would be able to have a future at all. The Lord blesses me with more than I deserve.
