I just read a post from a client and friend, her dog passed today. It's so sad to lose them. I regularly get the opportunity to hear people talk about a great dog they that passed. Very rarely are they sad when sharing stories with me. Most times they are smiling talking about their old dog. It always makes that bitter pill sweet.
When your furry family members get old or sick and pass remember they will still bring a smile to your face with all the memories. The value of that furry family member is simple, it's a amazing relationship and alot of amazing memories. Coming from a rescue back ground it's always great to see a dog live a lifetime in a loved memory filled home.

I was just talking to a friend today this year I lost both of my dogs. They took a part of me with them, then Izzy came along and Oso came along and filled that part of me with something different but still good. I sure miss Shasta and Sadie but Oso and Izzy are great to.

So I have been working with this husky and horses. They were over the top reactive together. The goal is to get them to get along and get some recall with the husky so he can go on trail rides.. We are almost there. At the start of out training, he was biting the horses and they were biting and kicking him.. This has been a very fun experience..

Once in a while I get to do something out of the norm. This was the out come of getting a horse and a dog that were very uncomfortable together.. now they seem to be learning to get along. Something new to add to my list. This was a good day.
