Groom Training and Pup Pampering with the Kids. 🪮

The kids enjoyed breaking out the brushes and getting the pups all dolled up while doing some dog grooming training.
Teaching both kids and pups how to handle the brush!

💯 Homestead life is full of lessons, so thankful for the many opportunity we get to practice animal care and teach the kids such valuable lessons like how to treat baby puppies while having fun too. 😊💓

🎉And just like that we have a new Mother. 🥹💞😊

Deja Vu gave birth to her very first litter of 4 splendid, rolly-polly beagles-3 girls 1 male.

She's the sweetest momma dog, just like her mom Dahlia and grandmother Daisy. 💓

📌ENS training has begun on the 4 little ones, which include daily special handling to start expanding the pup's comfort zones and
allow them to relax with human attention.

Penny's puppies are 5 week old now! 😍🐾💞
Her pups have been bottle-fed since day one and are now chowing down on "real" food.
It's been a joy watching these guys grow and see their confidence as people dogs shine! Developing into sweet Goldens, with their Momma's calm temperament and father' handsome looks.

We still have 3 of her pups open and looking for new families. 💓

This will be Deja Vu's first litter, we are so excited to see her pups and watch her become a mother. 😍

Both parents are AKC, DNA tested with Champion Bloodlines. Dante has had some clear OFA testing done and comes from health tested Wyoming lines.

The kids delight in having puppies around and little Will especially likes the smallest of Stella's litter miss "Nova".
She's a petite one for sure but her spirit is strong! 💪💞

We are truly enjoying these last remnants of Fall on the Homestead. 💞
As seasons change we are reminded of the Love that lasts, and take care to spend these golden moments with those around us on earth we love.

We have a bright side on the Homestead. 💖
Penny's pups are doing amazing! Vigorously sucking down that bottle in no time!😛
Her 3 girls, 2 boys are fat and happy-such a blessing. 💞
-Katherine is up around the clock feeding these little guys.🐾⏰💗

We have tragic news on the Homestead...

Our beautiful momma, Penny, passed away this week due to birth complications. After a week of around the clock care with IV fluids, antibiotics, medical supplements and emergency support, our beloved Penny left us Friday, October 11th.

This is the dark side of dog raising, the part breeders don't like to think about. All of life brings inherit risk - highs and lows which teach us to treasure every newborn puppy's life all the more.

Penny was a happy-go-lucky, loyal, funny, and Katherine's favorite adventure buddy. She was affectionate. She loved her walks and ramblings around the property. Katherine will miss her sorely.

We are now bottle feeding the pups and they are thriving. Praise the Lord, all 5 of Penny's babies are doing amazingly! They are growing strong and getting bigger by the day. As a result, the pups are getting more love and daily care which will cultivate sweeter, friendlier, and more confident pups.

A sweet silver lining to the sad reality of Penny's death. She will be missed.💓

Stella's pups are doing great--developing into little sweethearts. 💓
We do daily ENS-"Early Neurological Stimulation" with all our Golden puppies.
This training sets the foundation for our pups to develop into well rounded adult dogs ready for anything family dogs will encounter. 🐾💪💓

Penny's litter of 6 perfect pups arrived yesterday around 12pm.
The pups are doing great- 3 and 3- boys to girls. (perfect) 🥰

Taking this handsome boy for a walk this morning. 💪😍
Had to share a picture- he looked so good.

Falkor is such a proud daddy. Happy to see the way his pups take after his stately build.

Although the puppies do get a mix of Mom and Dad's coats- which is a fun surprise.
Some have Stella's silky, flat, pure white coat and some have Falkor's full, English cream show coat.

We're watch'en to see who gets what this litter. 😄🐾
