Monkeys new headquarters! Monkey is constantly entertaining us. When I ask Monkey if he is in the bag to go shopping, he says “no”. He says he doesn’t need to go shopping, since everything we bring home is for him, anyway,😂. Monkey tells me he is just resting up until his next adventure, entertaining us. Monkey does request that I DO NOT, take the bag away until “he’s done with it”. Of course I never would do that!

I had a very interesting exchange with a wonderful young person. It was extremely interesting because it accentuated how we all have many spirits with in us. And are infinitely connected to nature.

This young women, said she was very connected to nature and especially trees. She said she actually used the shape of a tree for her “shield”. But that during a guided meditation when she was asked to “grow roots, through her feet into the earth, as a tree would do, she would become overcome with intense energy. Her eyes would well up. But she stated it was not a bad, or good energy, but so intense she would have to stop and rest.
I saw right away what was happening, and it was actually so beautiful. Here is my response;

Dear Vale,
You are communicating with and embodying the spirit of the tree. You have lived the life of a tree before and lived many, many, decades, as a tree. You bore witness to much as a tree. You outlived most other beings around you. Trees are energies that bear witness in a very sacred way, and silently protect us. So it is absolute genius you use the shape of a tree as your shield. This tree you imagine is an element that is bearing witness to your growth, and is your protector.
As you begin to imagine the roots growing from your feet, you begin to relive your life as a tree. You are overwhelmed by the surge of remembrances of how the soil nourished you, the rain washed you, the sun warmed you, and supported your growth and how the wind caressed your branches. The energy that is present is one of deep wisdom. As trees hold the deepest wisdom, and can answer our most challenging questions. Let the emotions flow through you, let the energy move, through you, as you are being gifted and activated from “tree wisdom”. Let the wisdom flow through you. Truly a blessing. You can ask the energy to slow down. But I would trust the intensity, and know that you are being encoded with great wisdom. Embrace this energy, knowing that it is coming from your beloved trees, and the tree spirit that resides in you.

As it turned out she always suspected she was a tree in a past life, and her goal in life is to help people connect with trees on a deeper level. Much like I do with animals and all of life!
My hope is this opens you to all possibilities and the power of who you are can look like anything you imagine. If you have a passion, you hold the spirit of that passion within you.

Just love this photo. Peach our chicken has decided she likes to sleep on the couch with our dog, Lanore! My daughter and I were shocked to see Peach on the couch! Pretty cute though. And, yes, everyone gets along. Such a wonderful example of harmony.
