This is why you don't get a Belgian maligator unless you know what you're doing. They were bred for near constant, intense work, and if they aren't given that work and managed excellently they'll eat your couch and excavate your yard. And ultimately end up on someone's euth schedule.

I sold out of my beefy rope leashes with traffic loop in about 15 minutes after we opened Friday. The dock dog handlers bought them all and have been using them all weekend. Stitched vs. Unstitched

Ok so there are two main reasons to choose biothane: you want a leather-like appearance or you want waterproof gear. Edge stitching increases the illusion of high-end leatherwork but reduces the waterproofing and cleanability. Unstitched is preferable for dogs that are heavy swimmers. So I offer both, just ask! ❤️

We need to talk about this! Too many folks have been given terrible advice. YOU REACT*ING* TO THE FIREWORKS WILL NOT MAKE YOUR DOG REACT*IVE* TO THEM. Basically the opposite will happen. Quick reminder to call your vet NOW if you haven't yet, if any of your pets need a little sedation to be safe on the 4th. 4th of July is one of the most dangerous days of the year for pets. I'll try to do a video in a bit about how to address fireworks with your pets. Because "just ignore the fireworks so the dog will learn to ignore them too" was the worst advice ever given. Here's a fun, girlie, small pink and violet jeweled biothane collar I made last night. I was trying to make it sparkle on camera like it does in person but I didn't have much luck, there's limited lighting in the office. 🙈

This definitely has nothing to do with pet gear but I wanted to share. Crumb-free muffins can be super helpful even if you don't have little kids. They are more resilient packed, and less messy to shove in your face on the go. Baking purists will probably come at me that muffins are supposed to have a nice crumble, or something, but I think they're delicious and as a parent it makes my life easier so I thought I'd share.
