Find joy in the little things and the rest will follow! 🥹

Last night I heard giggling and turned around in the cutting pen to see my child fully embracing her horse in fits of laughter as he arched his neck to expose his most itchiest itchy spot. My heart smiled. This morning I watched her slap on her seat belt and crank the radio up and yell at me to do a burn out on the gravel and drive faster with her hand out the window, again my heart smiled. A 10 yr old girls ability to find joy in everything is life goals. She’s blessed she’s yet to know much in the way of stress and heart ache but if she holds onto the feeling of joy even when it’s fleeting she’ll deal with it much better. On the way home I found myself doing another burn out just because. I wanna be like my kid when I grow up.

This is how I think, but mine is in terms of goats. If you say someone is the GOAT and they show up without horns, hooves, and a sassy attitude I will be very disappointed, just saying. 🤷😂🐐

With fall festival season quickly approaching, make sure to get bookings in for your fall events! We tend to book up on Saturdays the fastest, but love to take part in all sorts of fall fun whenever it may be! I will be adding and sharing events that have already been booked before too long but in the meantime I would love to know what you look forward to most about autumn! 🍁🎃🍂

Got the first side of the first building (dove run) mostly done tonight. It has taken three days of working on and off, two and a half Lowe’s pickup orders and several rounds of revamping the design plans. At this rate, I should be done with the buildings for the permanent zoo in *checks notes* …forty-seven years! This timeframe is not definite and does not account for accidents either natural or manmade, including but not limited to:

•flash flooding
•zombie apocalypses
•downed trees
•hurricanes
•bouts of temporary insanity
•power outages
•loose goats
•civil war
•broken trucks
•tornadoes

This list isn’t no means exhaustive but should cover the main concerns.

Marietta is so excited to host Great Race and one of the largest Motorsports Shows in our area. A Motorsports Show will start off the day at 9:00 am. Gates open at 8:00 am, $10 entrant vehicle fee -- Great Race Marietta Commemorative Plaque given to all entrants and Door Prizes. No preregistration needed. Followed by The Great Race Teams arriving around 4:00pm on Front Street. Plan on spending the day in Marietta for this FREE COMMUNITY EVENT!
