This is how I think, but mine is in terms of goats. If you say someone is the GOAT and they show up without horns, hooves, and a sassy attitude I will be very disappointed, just saying. š¤·šš
Here to share the farm experience by bringing the animals to you with the mobile petting zoo!

With fall festival season quickly approaching, make sure to get bookings in for your fall events! We tend to book up on Saturdays the fastest, but love to take part in all sorts of fall fun whenever it may be! I will be adding and sharing events that have already been booked before too long but in the meantime I would love to know what you look forward to most about autumn! ššš
We look forward to seeing everyone there!
Got the first side of the first building (dove run) mostly done tonight. It has taken three days of working on and off, two and a half Loweās pickup orders and several rounds of revamping the design plans. At this rate, I should be done with the buildings for the permanent zoo in *checks notes* ā¦forty-seven years! This timeframe is not definite and does not account for accidents either natural or manmade, including but not limited to:
ā¢flash flooding
ā¢zombie apocalypses
ā¢downed trees
ā¢hurricanes
ā¢bouts of temporary insanity
ā¢power outages
ā¢loose goats
ā¢civil war
ā¢broken trucks
ā¢tornadoes
This list isnāt no means exhaustive but should cover the main concerns.
We're looking forward to bringing the zoo to this remarkable event! Hope to see everyone Sunday afternoon!

The zoo at the library yesterday was a hit! After the amazing turnout last year, I thought we were better prepared with the amount of animals that came along with us but I was again blown away by the amount of people who turned up to see the animals and foster their kidsā love of reading at the same time! Iām thinking that Iām going to have to create a third āMega-Zoo optionā if the fantastic people at the Washington County Public Library and their advertising efforts along with WTAP Television keep drawing in such a great crowd!
šā¤ļøš
The Marietta Library has taken a unique and exciting approach to spark childrenās interest in reading books at the library.
I need to start getting back into watching WTAP so I can see this stuff firsthand! This is the second time this week weāve been mentioned in the news for different events! ā¤ļø

Aleena's bunny barn has a surplus of mini Rex bunnies right now! I love the mini rexes for their docile personalities and super soft fur. I wonāt say theyāre hypoallergenic but Iāve never had a problem with allergies messing with these guys like I do with other breeds with more fluff. Sheās running a buy two get one free sale right now which is an absolute steal for these sweet babies!

I needed to move her a short distance to get her to the trailer so this seemed like a faster solution than going to hook up the trailer and bringing it back to get her. The good thing about this is that Honey isnāt going to be afraid of much and will do just about anything for a bucket of grain!
I want to let those of you that follow the page know that Iām going to be working on catching up on posting/updating my social platforms for the zoo so you all can see more of the goings on around here, now that I donāt feel so busy dealing with building projects, putting up the first round of hay, and figuring out a couple of personal things that Iāve been dealing with for the past couple of weeks. If you want to turn off notifications for the page, this is your warning. š
For those of you who donāt mind the influx of new content and want to, or already do, know that my happiness can be found in the times I spend with my fur babies such as having honking competitions with the geese (demonstrated below), early morning screaming matches with my gorgeous peacock (after everyone else is at work), or just cuddling with one of the many goats around here (generally hard to beat), stick around! One of the main reasons Iām making this post comes from a very recent re-realization of just how much I enjoy taking my animals around to different places and sharing them with people young and old.

Yesterday I spent the majority of my day at MES for their last day of school celebration to close out the year. I will be making a separate post with some of the pics from that, but even though it was nonstop all day with the amount of kids that came through, it went absolutely phenomenal and it was the best booking that I have had this year. Itās not to say that I havenāt had general success with prior events and met lots of lovely new people, because that isnāt true at all, but yesterday was the first time in a good bit where I felt like I was capable of focusing completely and totally on just the kids, the animals, and making sure everyone involved had the best time possible, me included. I might have come off slightly manic to those that had never met me but let me tell you, the feeling of no longer worrying about carrying the weight of the world is incredibly liberating. This release of worry isnāt a shirking of responsibility and work, itās more to do with a recent fast paced trip to Jacksonville this weekend, meant entirely to simply reconnect with an old friend, made me take a step back and re-evaluate my priorities and how taking on too much responsibility was taking away the happiness from my time spent with the animals and daily life in general.
šŖæ
Iām going to wrap this up by saying that even though there were moments in the past few weeks where I had put serious thought into not continuing with the petting zoo next season, I know that decision would be a crushing disappointment for those of you who love seeing the animals and have followed, supported and encouraged me on this crazy adventure. Not only that but also that the biggest disappointment would be my own for not putting my whole effort to doing what makes me happier than I have ever been. Iām unable to completely express how positively thrilled I am to once again have the same passion and joy owning and operating this petting zoo as I did in the very beginning when I first started with just a couple of goats and such but let me reassure each and every one of you that I will be doing everything in my power to keep sharing my happiness and love for these animals who have shown me that their only condition for loving someone is just how many treats, pets and kisses they receive. I want to once again extend my deepest gratitude to those of you who havenāt doubted that I could do this even from day one. ā¤ļø

I was recently asked what the newest addition to the zoo crew was going to beā¦ If I had any idea what a zedonk or a baby camel sold for these days these babies would be next! Arenāt they too cute?!? š
The new business cards arrived looking very crisp and I made sure itāll hopefully be awhile before we run outta these bad boys! This weekend weāll be setting up at the annual OGCS carnival on Saturday and I will be posting other upcoming public events soon so stay tuned!
Pasted from The Noble Learning Center page: Come out to Noble Learning Center on April 18th. See our facility, meet some of our staff, and help us celebrate spring with some fun activities for the kids, a petting zoo with spring babies, and some refreshments. Hope to see you there!
Come out to see our center and what we can provide for your child care and preschool needs. We have ECE preschool spots open for fall.
If youāve ever wondered how many animals can fit in the back of a ford escape, the answer is more than youād think! It was rather cold and windy packing up and I didnāt want to put the babies in the back of the truck to freeze. Iām thinking about getting a commemorative bumper sticker made with the picture of all the babies in the hatch that says āgoats on the goā to put on all of my vehicles now! š
So after a very extended, loosely defined āholiday breakā from around Christmas to National Pig Day itās time to gear up for our third petting zoo season!

Bookings have already begun so donāt hesitate to reach out for information on booking or check out our website at gabsgoats.com for pricing and details!
Hereās a couple of photos from the live nativity scenes we did over the past couple weekends. The mini donkeys, baby cow, and baby goats were definitely all a hit! I was asked about whether or not there was an emu present at the first Christmas ļæ¼but they were standing in for the doves ļ漚ļø
Itās a bit past peak pumpkin pitching time but this is a great alternative to simply throwing them in the trash! The pigs are definitely the biggest pumpkin fans around here but the goats and chickens enjoy them too! šš·š
Animals will take one look at your proposed schedule and scoff right in your face before either eating it or pooping on it (or maybe bothļæ¼, who am I to say?)
Weāve been watching Oreo for a month as sheās bagged up with milk and gotten closer and closer to having her babies. We have been thinking day after day that sheāll surely have them that night. Then the one night that weāre thinking of other things and not about the very pregnant goat for one second is of course the night that she decides to sneak out into the pony pen to have her kids.
Oreo is now the proud mama of three adorable healthy babies and Smokeļæ¼y is the most dedicated selfāappointed godfather that Iāve ever seen! ļæ¼Oreo and her babies are tucked into the barn for the night to keep everyone safe and warm. ā¤ļø

We allowed the two new emu boys to spend some time in with Emily and Everly and they all hit it off immediately!
