We are excited to announce v. Chequamegon’s F litter! Brynna v. Chequamegon should come into heat very soon (late Dec - early Jan) and will be bred to Sledge vom Entenmoor. This pairing will be our kennel’s first true outcross breeding and we have concluded that Sledge’s natural abilities, form and coat will greatly complement Brynna. Sledge and his S litter siblings are an excellent example of Jeff Henke’s hard work and knowledge when it comes to DD’s. Jeff has been building his vom Entenmoor line for 20 years! Sledge is a very mentally stable male; showing very good nose, search, point, and cooperation at JGHV tests. His progeny have benefitted from his genetics as they are showing similar attributes. Brynna is one of my personal hunting dogs. She has lived her entire life with us and I trained and tested her through VJP, HZP, and VGP. She is a favorite with our family and friends in the home and she’s always getting it done in the field, forest and water. She is one of our “go to” dogs for upland, duck hunting, and blood tracking. These F litter pups will be excellent hunting dogs with tons of talent and coats that are not only protective but easily maintained. We are looking to place puppies with hard hunting families. If you’re interested in the JGHV testing system, these pups should perform very well with the right exposure/training. References from all past litters and club affiliations (VDD-GNA & JGV-USA) available upon request. Ero, Enzo, and Eiko are still looking for their hunting families. All three males have very nice temperaments with similar drive. Ero is definitely the big boy, with Eiko and Enzo a shade bit smaller. These little hunters are ready to start training for upland, waterfowl, and forest work. Both parents are VGP dogs. All the D litter pups (Balta v. Makoshika x Hunk vom Teuberschlag) went home with their new owners this past weekend. We are blessed and grateful to have such a great group of owners for our pups! Delta v. Chequamegon will be staying with us and she got to take a ride up to the cabin and meet the neighbors after saying goodbye to her siblings. The new queen took her throne 🤣 We look forward to seeing all the pups out either training and/or at the spring tests in ‘25. Enjoy and expose, expose, expose!
