Some of y’all may know this already but we will have a new addition to our pack! 💜 Little Liam Arthur Cotton will make his debut March 2023.

With that being said unfortunately I will no longer be doing grooming due to the weight/lifting restrictions. I’m unsure when or if I’ll start grooming again but will definitely keep y’all updated. I want to thank all of my clients for supporting me and for trusting me to take care of your furbabies. Y’all are amazing and I loved getting to know y’all and your awesome pets.

Due to their age (12 and 13 years old) and their coats being so compacted, Dad wanted these sweet Labradors to be shaved for the summer time.
They got a bath before their cuts to loosen all the hair and dirt and a bath with oatmeal shampoo and conditioner after their cuts to sooth their skin and get any remaining dirt that was under all that hair that I couldn’t get to the first time.

The adorable shih tzu puppy Smoochy 💜 he wasn’t a fan of the top knot we did last time so until he gets a little bigger mom wanted short around the face and on top of his head. He still thought he was drowning in the bath BUT he only tried to eat the dryer once this time. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Princeton 👑 the maltipoo.
Due to his condition of his fur and stickers causing matting we had to go pretty short on his summer cut. But he’s on a schedule so we won’t have to worry about this again. 💜

This sweet pack is on a six week schedule. It makes me so happy that these pups are always so excited to see me. It reminds me why animals are truly the best clients and why I love my job 💜

The aussies get a full deshedding treatment, bath and nail trim. The schnauzer mix gets trim, bath, nail trim and a**l (scent) glands expressed.

I got the honor of doing Rafiki the Bernedoodle’s first ever professional grooming and Willow the Goldendoodle’s second professional grooming. We definitely have a few thing to overcome like that dang scary blow dryer and that it’s okay to just sit still for a few minutes 😂 but we will overcome these by getting them on regular grooming schedule and lots and lots of love and treats 💜

Dori the Goobrador 💜 (what her parents like to call her and honestly is the best description of this sweet girl 😂) look at all that hair! And that’s just the hair I brushed out with my deshedding tools. There’s no telling how much we got off with the bath and blow out.

Since switching to grooming full time I’ve definitely missed seeing certain clients and pets. So it makes me happy when I get to see them for a grooming appointment. My old man JJ 💜
He thought my leg was a comfortable spot to lay on during his trim and brush. 😂

Jake the adorable Yorkie 💜 Mom wanted short and simple all around for his summer cut. He also got a bath, coat blow out and nail trim. Jake and Mom ( Judy Geddes ) are new to town so I was so happy she trusted me to take on them as clients and get Jake groomed for summer.

Handsome boy Mitch 💜 he got a bath, deshedding, coat blow out, slight trim with scissors and nail trim. Just like his housemate Heidi no clippers were used during this grooming, just good ole elbow grease and deshedding tools/brushes.

GUYS I GOT TO GROOM BATMAN! My comic book heart was super happy and excited for this one 💜 Bruce Wayne had a very rough start before Kendra adopted him and made him part of her family. He has a permit back leg injury so parts of his grooming took longer than normal but it was so important to keep him comfortable during this process. And definitely worth it. Just look at that face! 💜 he got a nice bath, deshedding, slight trim and nail trim.
I forgot get a before picture 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I’ve attached one that shows how the towel drying and a majority of the drying with the doggie dryer went. 😂

I’m so happy I was able to get this sweet momma all fixed up before she had her babies. She got a bath, deshedding treatment, a slight trim with scissors and a nail trim. Thank you JJ Thompson for trusting me with her 💜

In the pictures below you’ll see the amount of hair that I got just from deshedding her. (Not counting the hair floating around and on my floor) No clippers were used, just good ole elbow grease and deshedding tools/brushes. I had to use my regular blow dryer on her because she was terrified of the sound the doggie dryer makes even on the lowest setting. So instead of stressing her out I just spent extra time brushing her out prior to her bath to make drying time go by faster.

>> It’s important with these guys and their type of hair coat to help them shed their undercoat as summer comes. Not only does it help prevent tangles and mats but it also helps them to stay cool. It’s also important to their hygiene because it removes all the dirt and debris the undercoat has collected overtime.

If I could make a ”How to behave during grooming appointments” for dogs, Luna would be the star of the show. 💜🤩⭐️ she’s not only is the sweetest girl ever but she is also the most well behaved girl. She just stares at you with those big eyes waiting patiently for you to get done.
This is the second time I got the pleasure of grooming her 💜
Mom wanted a short cut for the summer so she got a nice trim, bath and nail trim.
