Hi friends! We are always receiving inquiries on pricing and booking. This is a short version of the information found on our website, poaspay.org.

We have updated our booking system so that appointments automatically generate one month from the current date. While we are doing everything in our power to meet as much of the demand as possible, please know that these appointments fill very quickly and you may need to check a few times prior to getting an appointment.

A $50 deposit is required for all cats and $100 deposit for all dog appointments at the time of booking.

UPDATE PART 2****We are amazed and shocked that this post received over 1,000 shares. If we reached out to a few to educate them about dogs then we ALL win in this!! Thank you guys and we will be doing a live video tonight showing puppies, talking about some training and answer questions!! We will get started on finding our Veteran to receive a service dog!!!!

There is a movie coming out on Feb 18 called "Dog". It stars Channing Tatum and a highly trained Belgian Malinois. It's a road trip/buddy movie.

People are going to see this film and many will want their own Belgian Malinois. This is not going to end well for this breed.

A highly trained Malinois is a work of art. So is Michelangelo's statue of David but I don't necessarily want it in my living room.

This breed can be amazing in the right hands but they require a lot of everything. If you are considering getting a Malinois, please, first go meet some Malinois of all ages at your local rescue.

Be honest with yourself about the amount of time that you have to dedicate to training one of these dogs. Not the person that you want to be but the person that you are right now. Sitting on your ass and reading this post.

If you are still determined to get one. You can stem the inevitable tidal wave of Malinois that will be surrendered to the shelters by sourcing your dog in one of 3 places:

Your local shelter
A local Malinois rescue
A real, ethical breeder (researching one is hard work but an ethical breeder will prove their dogs and require that you return the dog to them if you can't keep it)

DO NOT get a Malinois from the guy down the street. Don't help backyard breeders line their pockets. Pure bred doesn't equal good breeding.

If you see the popularity of these dogs sky rocket and think you can make a quick buck by breeding some. May all of your financial ventures fail one after another.

From the bottom of my heart, I love this breed. I know what's coming and so do the shelters and rescues.

Confessions of a Husky 🐺 As a puppy I was so cute and fluffy and my blue eyes were irresistible. I could make someone who didn’t even want a dog want me. With all that puppy cuteness comes all the puppy responsibilities too like house training and teething. Speaking of teething, my baby teeth are razor sharp and I will try and chew on anything I can and you might think it’s cute when I try and chew on your hands and you might even let me and play with me while I do it but did you know that I have one of the strongest bite forces at 320 PSI - that means I can bite really hard and when I grow up I’ll think it’s ok since you let me when I was a puppy. I am also stubborn and determined, when you take away that thing I was chewing on and try and hide it on top of the fridge I will destroy everything in my way to get it back. I’ll do that because I’m bored, I don’t like sitting around the house and if you let me out in the fenced in yard I will find a way to get out because I NEED to run. Oh, and now that we are talking about running it’s hard sometimes to keep a collar on me because I don’t like them and I will try my best to get it off me!! Did I mention I like to be active? I was bred to work and pull sleds. If you don’t get me the exercise I need I will jump, I will jump on you, anyone who comes in the house, the counters and the furniture. You have to be really patient, firm and consistent with telling me not to do that because when I’m big It won’t be cute anymore and I could hurt someone. I know I’m beautiful and fluffy and cute but please don’t get me because of that. Only bring me home if you can give me all the attention I need. Sincerely ~ every husky looking to be rehomed
