About Monic’s Pet Services

Howdy! I’m Monic Hunsberger, a NAPPS Certified Professional Pet Sitter and owner of Monic’s Pet Services.

I’ve grown up with animals my entire life. Starting out with family cats, dogs, hamsters and fish, I later fell in love with exotic animals such as snakes, birds and frogs after volunteering at the Brazos Valley Animal Shelter (now Aggieland Humane Society) and Texas A&M Small Animal Hospital in college.

After spending nearly a decade in a career within academia, I decided to go back to my roots, pursue my passion of pet care, and start Monic's Pet Services. When I realized I could blend my love of animals with my love of education, I knew I’d found my true calling! I’m now currently studying to become a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) with the Karen Pryor Academy. Additionally, I’m a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and Pet Sitters International. I truly love helping strengthen the bonds between owners and their pets while providing quality care!
