As many are aware, we are attempting to close on a 62 acre property and need your help to make this a reality for our rescue and sanctuary animals. We started rescuing animals in 2016 and became a nonprofit in 2018, due to demand our rescue organization has grown way beyond we imagined. We have been out of space for awhile and unfortunately our large pasture lease ends December 31st which will displace more of our animals.
We have until November 20th to raise as much as possible to put towards our goal. We are attempting to purchase this property for $185,000 (which in this economy, you won't find a better deal.) This is our chance.
Your donations are tax deductible and VERY APPRECIATED. I can't explain the amount of stress this unexpected situation has made both me, my family and the animals. We never thought we would be leaving our current location and it's very devastating to us that we were put in this position. But we made a promise to give the almost 200 animals here a safe place and forever home if needed and that's what we are trying to do. This is our opportunity to grow our nonprofit and allow the animals to have the space they need. Our blind and disabled pets will have their own large enclosures, everyone will have plenty of space and we have big plans we hope to share with our amazing followers along the way. Thank you to those who have donated and share our post, we appreciate y'all's support!
Together, THIS IS POSSIBLE AND THE ANIMALS DESERVE IT.

Lots of bad weather hitting Texas today!! Also keep all those affected by the tornados and floods in your prayers as they continue to rebuild 🙏❤️

Meteorologist Whitney Huddleston here. A WEATHER IMPACT ALERT DAY has been issued with a high probability of strong storms, a few of which could be severe later today. Isolated storms are possible by late morning/lunch packing gusty winds. This evening a heavy line of storms (and cold front!) will move through, reaching I-35 by late afternoon to early evening, moving east.
High winds, a low/non zero tornado threat, and hail are possible. Storms clear east overnight.

I love seeing a precious pig pile in the morning but having over 30 pigs is ridiculous, but a reality for most livestock rescues that accept pigs. I can't believe these 4 cuties are still here.... But people are buying piglets on local pages like pancakes from breeders.... This year has been absolutely terrible for adoptions, we actually were stood up again yesterday and this morning which is frustrating and sad. So much wasted time that I don't have to waste. If I wasn't burnt out enough in January, I'm just running on fumes now in November. It makes complete sense why most rescues/sanctuaries can't survive more than 10 years, although I am praying we can and do since we've been rescuing since 2016. But we need YOUR help; please continue Sharing/Interacting with our page as we need more followers and eyes to see the incredible things we do. The animals NEED more donations. We have helped thousands of animals and plan to help so many more in the future but RIGHT NOW we need help with the almost 200 we have!
We are in the process of purchasing 62 acres FOR the animals and we are so excited to give them a forever sanctuary home with the space we have been desperately seeking, but that's an incredible financial burden we can't afford all by ourselves. We just can't do it all alone and would appreciate any and all support! Your views, comments, shares, kind words, motivation and donations make a huge difference in helping the animals we help. Your donations are tax deductible and so appreciated.

THANK YOU to those who wholeheartedly support our rescue & mission as we have given it all to these animals and regret nothing.

If you have a chicken that looks lethargic/weak, has a swollen belly, panting or has no interest in moving, they could be egg bound. This is something that happens when an animal, such as a bird or reptile, has difficulty passing an egg from its reproductive tract. It can be a serious problem that can lead to shock, infection, or death if left untreated.
If detected early, egg binding can be treated easily, but if left untreated, the bird can become critically ill. If veterinary care isn't immediately available, you can try these steps to help:
First, like seen below, place the bird in warm water and do not leave unsupervised. Sometimes it's the easiest fix but antibiotics can still be needed if a shell was broken inside.
If you can see the stuck egg, gently make a hole in it and use a syringe to remove the contents.
Gently pull on the shell to remove it intact. If it breaks, make sure you have all the pieces.
If you can't see the egg, try lubricating the vent and cloaca and manually manipulating the egg.
If the egg broke inside the bird, you'll need to give it antibiotics to prevent infection.
Egg binding can be caused by a poor diet, by the bird being a first-time egg layer or a prolific layer as many factors could contribute to the condition.
This is always something to look out for and keep in mind when having pets that can lay eggs!

It is and we are in need of feed funds!
Goose here is just 1 of 36 goats that call this home. Majority of those were owner surrenders, unclaimed strays or disabled goats we have rescued over the years. The goats are just a small portion of what we have here at the rescue, we spend hundreds weekly to feed the animals and we appreciate your support in continuing to help us feed them all! We are always in need of feed/hay and are happy to give tax receipts if needed!

I saw these and can't wait to make some!!
These are great for enrichment with any pet that eats hay. You can add netting to the bottom like pictured or you can leave the plastic and drill holes in the bottom like the sides.
These are easy to clean by spraying out with a hose and would make an awesome reasonably priced addition to your animals enclosures!!
Just had to share, this is a farm fave. You know you love your animals when stuff that would make them happy, makes you happy!

🐾🐾 COURTESY POST🐾🐾
""I recently started fostering a pup that belonged to my elderly neighbor. She had way too many pups in her back yard and they were getting too rambunctious for her to handle safely. Unfortunately we are unable to keep her in the long term because of our housing situation.
We have been calling her Sassy. She seems to be less than a year old, and she has spent most of her life in the backyard without human interaction. We have had her for about a week, and she is definitely coming out of her shell. She is not aggressive and does well with our dog as well as our two cats.""
Located in Lubbock TX
Please contact Jacelyn at (254)931-0027 if you are interested or able to help out with sweet Sassy!

Does anyone know a trust specific lawyer to sue the trustee over a trust account who is not wanting to release my funds to purchase a property?
The trustee has verbally stated multiple times to take the funds to purchase elsewhere.
(I was always supposed to inherit acreage here to expand on per my father who passed away 3 years ago and we've been stuck in a loop since.)
I never planned on doing that until we were recently evicted from our property leases by the trustee forcing me to make these hard decisions.
I have proof of malicious behavior by the trustee on multiple recent occasions including them contacting a news station with lies to have a story about us trying to move/raise funds removed. I have kept quiet and I am done. Unfortunately legal-aid had no availability to accept the case but they said I do have a case with the proof I have. I do not have a lot of funds, this entire situation has had a negative impact on our rescue and sanctuary and has been incredibly difficult to deal with. I am done being pushed around and wanting to pursue legal action.

Hanks favorite time of the month is when we get our barkbox! Hank was hanging out with Ronnie the ring-tailed lemur this morning with his toy and it looked like a great moment to capture and share with our amazing followers and supporters! I invested in the barkbox subscription earlier this year for our rescues dogs and they have all enjoyed the toys/treats very much! Hank loves the toys that squeak, he will squeak the toy for what feels like hours at times. I really don't think Hank lived inside of a home before coming to us from the shelter, he is older but still such a big puppy at heart. (I will put his intake photos in the comments). Hank was never adopted, he's been with us 2 years at this point (December) and although we love him like the other rescue pets very much- this is a common burden we face and are facing as a rescue and sanctuary. We are just out of space here unfortunately. Many animals that come to the rescue and are adoptable, just aren't being adopted. And what happens when animals aren't adopted here? Well, we accept the responsibility and take care of them. We have never and will never euthanize for space here, but- we are out of space.... which is why we are taking every dime we have and moving to give the animals the space to survive and thrive like they deserve. Today/tomorrow we will know if our offer was accepted for the 60+ acres in North Texas. I am incredibly nervous and full of anxiety, if you would have told me 6 months ago I would be moving I would have NEVER believed you. The last few months have been a nightmare but I am holding strong in my faith that God has a plan. Leaving my family home forever is so hard for me, but I can't give the animals what they need here with how expensive land is. It's heartbreaking but I just imagine our rescue pets like Hank here running the open pastures freely, the sense of freedom this space can offer the animals is worth the heartache. It's about giving animals like Hank the 'forever' they desperately seek. Our disabled animals will have large safe pastures and it makes me smile to think about! Please keep our family and rescue in your prayers as we get through this monumental and unexpected life change. If you would like to donate to the land fund or to the animals you can do so here; linktr.ee/TinyHoovesRescue
We will be building brand new barns/enclosures/fencing for our current almost 200 rescue/sanctuary residents at the new property once closed on which is almost 7 hours north of here. We appreciate the continued love and support.

It's not annoying to see people preach about spay and neuter.....
It's annoying constantly preaching about it and folks still continuing to be irresponsible and let their dogs have litter after litter.
I wish breeders were forced to volunteer at a shelter for 6 months before being allowed to breed or even own a dog. Maybe after seeing all the dog/cat bodies from euthanization they would change their ways. So many amazing animals lose their lives every day because they have nowhere to go and I wish more people cared more.
For all those that do care-
You are appreciated. 🐾

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
4 pairs of guinea pigs currently looking for loving forever pet homes. Adoption application applies along with photos of your cage/enclosure to ensure they are going to great homes. Message us for more information if you are seriously interested.
🐹 #1) Bonded brother pair of skinny pigs that are nearing one year old. Fat sweet boys, easy to handle.
🐹 #2) Bonded female pair of skinny pigs that are almost/around 1 year old. Also very sweet, okay being handled.
🐹 #3) Bonded male pair of skinny pigs, both are under 6-8 months old. Sweet but could use more handling. One needs lotion at times, he gets some dry skin sometimes.
🐹 #4) Bonded adult female pair of guinea pigs, thick healthy girls that are very sweet/curious.
*All pigs are not aggressive, enjoy veggies, take treats from my hand, are very talkative and would make excellent pets for the right families/person.
-->Please do your research prior, they do require quite a bit of cleaning and need special care. Some of these were returned, all are owner surrenders. We also have another pair not pictured that will be available after rehabilitation is completed.
We are located in Temple TX

has arrived and we would sincerely appreciate help with our never ending feed bills! We have to purchase a variety of feed/produce weekly to accommodate all of the different diets for our variety of species here. As a nonprofit organization we depend on donations to feed the farm and we appreciate your help in doing so, especially as we prepare to potentially move with all of the animals. You can make an online donation or send feed/treats from our online wishlist found here;

Our Journey

My name is Shelby Michalewicz and I am the owner of the Tiny Hooves Rescue farm with my Husband, Steven, and our Son, Re*****on.

We have dedicated our lives and property to taking care of animals that are injured, disabled, orphaned, surrendered and discarded.

After a car accident in high school I lost most of my short term and long term memory due to my injuries. I never quite understood how serious it was until I was in college following my dreams of becoming a veterinarian. I could study for weeks and when a test came, I just could not recall the information I had just spent so much time learning... I ended up dropping out of college after a year. I was so disappointed in myself and wondered what was next. So....I prayed, and prayed...

I met my husband in 2014 and moved back to my families farm in 2015 to fix it up as I continued to ask God to give me a purpose... Our son Re*****on was born in September of 2015 and God finally had answered my prayers. God then led people to start calling and bringing me animals in need, and it got to the point to where I was not only a stay at home mother to my human child, but also several animals that needed my help to be happy and healthy again.
