I love when our lemurs are vocal! This is Lil Ron 'Ronnie' in his element in the tree, when the chickens start roosting in the evening he starts to chatter. This is his favorite tree, we will definitely miss our trees once we move!
Ronnie has come so far since intake, he's gained weight & trust with our family and he absolutely loves Sunflower and has bonded to her which is a huge plus. 🩷

Made mountains move the last few days for the animals safety! Too blessed to be stressed is what I keep repeating to myself!!! Our receipt from the rental was $730 + gas put us over $1700 after adding it all up *ouch*! BUT, we moved 3 FULL trailer loads of our beloved sanctuary animals to our new property which is a huge achievement in this massive move! Over 2,850 Miles, over 43 hours of driving in 4 days with maybe 6hrs of sleep; to say I am exhausted is an understatement! But it is all so worth it for these animals to be safe FOREVER! We moved almost 50 animals and we still have 3-4 trailer loads to take throughout March and that's another $1700-2000 to accomplish that which does not include our heavy monthly feed cost. We only had $250 donated to our last trip, thankfully I was able to sell my personal items I could not move to cover the gap but I'm running out of personal stuff to sell. Our goal is to have everyone moved into our new property by the first week of April. We only have one vehicle since our truck threw a rod and we are doing our absolute best to hold it together and make this all happen! Running a nonprofit animal rescue and sanctuary is hard by itself but moving it- my goodness...not for the weak.. 🥹🤣 we would LOVE help in making the rest of these trips possible, your donations are tax deductible and SO FREAKING APPRECIATED!! Also if you know of a truck/SUV someone is willing to donate, we would also be so incredibly grateful as our truck needs a new motor and we can't afford to fix it unfortunately with all of our funds being eaten/spent with buying a place and moving to save our animals.

😆 Excuse the silence today, I have been a bit busy making bad decisions... LOL as per usual. These babies need lots of good yummy meals and love, keep an eye out for their update post soon. They got baths, shots, dewormer and lots of snuggles/kisses. I love giving the animals things that double in use- comfort AND enrichment! Yes, they will tear the bed to pieces and when they start pulling stuffing is when we move to the burn pile- but for several months they get to enjoy a comfortable bed to lounge on and push around! The trampolines last longer and are also a huge hit with mostly our goats but I have seen the ducks/geese/pigs on the shorter trampolines many times! When running a rescue with your family, funds are usually super tight!
