It's been a long process working on a project like this with no prior knowledge or skills but I'm proving to myself more and more that I have been doing this! I'm so proud of my progress and can't wait to show it to all of you.
A day in the life of Annie. She has no idea how she inspires me daily to go for a walk (granted if we don't go for a walk she lets me know it aka: heavy rain or I've pulled a muscle and can't bare the walk)
But on days like today, I discovered many different mushrooms, watched a woodpecker, looked up at the sky and it felt wonderful.
It helps on those days that feel like you just work and go home and rinse and repeat. Little Annie is a sweetheart and extremely smart as well. Anyways I hope everyone has a good weekend!

When it comes to training a dog to get groomed it's so important to make sure you desensitize them to it as a puppy (but it's never too late to start)
Here are some useful tips for desensitization:
•Pet them regularly and gently work on their legs and down to the feet.
•Gently give their ears a massage
•Dont forget their tail! It's as simple as running your fingers through the hair and firmly but gently holding it for a few seconds to gain their trust.
Start out doing this in small increments but often, and always ALWAYS remember to give them praise and some treats so they associate it as a positive experience 🥰

Step 1: Get their favorite treats for bribery
Step 2: Start taking a video (turning on a lot of lights helps with quality)
Step 3: Say their favorite words to get their attention
Step 4: Go back to the video and screenshot the good ones 🥰
