Our Philosophy:
At Adaptive K9 Academy, we strongly believe that no dog is the same. Thus, they should have training that is molded to their individual needs.
Now I know what you’re thinking, “That’s what everyone says!”
Many trainers say they offer custom training, but often this means you control what you work on during sessions rather than how your dog is taught or the tools used. This often leads to balanced trainers pushing the use of tools or owners wondering why their dog isn’t improving with positive-only methods.
You may be left feeling like you must have done something wrong. They’re the professionals, right?
We strive to ensure both dog and handler are comfortable before and during training. You have complete control over the techniques used on your dog. We have extensive knowledge of aversive techniques but know that dogs learn best through positive methods.
Dog training is only successful when the owner is 100% on board. We want to help you build a bond that will last for a lifetime, whether that be through positive or balanced methods. Contact us today to get started with your dog!
