Jagger 🐾 the 7️⃣ month old German Shepherd had his ✨Midway Lesson✨ this morning and did so well!

Owners, Amy & Jerry, were thrilled 🥰 to see their special guy today and had so much fun working with him! We covered Manners in Public ✔️, Leash Manners ✔️, Obedience ✔️ and then Jagger fell asleep 😴 at the end with The Art of Doing Nothing ✔️.

Jagger 🐾 has ☝🏻 week left in his ✨Good Dog Board and Train✨! We are going to focus on more field trips, off leash recall, confidence building and proofing his obedience out in public 🌎.

Henry is getting in the Christmas 🎅🏻 spirit!

This 3.5 month old English Cream Golden Retriever is here to ✨Play for the Day✨ AND his owner, Brandon, asked for ✨Add-On Training✨.

Henry can be a little unsure in new places, so while he is here we will be working on confidence building and some basic obedience he has been learning in Private Lessons!

Miss Layla was here for a ✨Stay and Play✨!

Fun fact: Layla went downtown this past weekend to the Chili Championship and her owners said she did fantastic! 🙌🏻

This girl graduated 🎓 from Private Lessons not too long ago and her owners have said nothing but good things when they go out on the town with her 🥰.

Margaret and her husband Jason would like her to become a Therapy Dog ⛑️ and she is well on her way!

Jagger just wrapped up Week 1 of his ✨Good Dog Board and Train✨.

This 7️⃣ month old German Shepherd is smart and spunky! He is quickly learning a solid foundation of obedience and loving working for his food 🦴.

During this next week we are going to start more field trips 🛻 to work on his manners and obedience out in public.

Jagger is owned and loved by Amy & Jerry 🥰.

The Boxer Bunch came back for a ✨Day Stay✨ while their owner went and did some secret Christmas shopping 🎄 for them (just a guess 🤷🏻‍♀️).

Tracker, Captain and Smooch have been clients for a few years now, and we love seeing them throughout the year 🥰.

Bubba the Bulldog and Goodnight the Lab Mix are here for a ✨Stay and Play✨!

You may notice the beautiful Miss Freya 🥰 also! She came to ✨Play for the Day✨while her owner ran some errands 🚙 and whew did these dogs play!

They had lot of time outside before all the rain ⛈️ came in. Playing, walks and naps 🟰 a day well spent ☺️. The biggest challenge today? Keeping Casper the Golden clean from his bath 🧼 yesterday!

Welcome 👋🏻 Jagger!

Jagger is a 6️⃣ month old German Shepherd who is here for a 3 week ✨Good Dog Board and Train✨.

Over the next three weeks he will learn all the moves 🕺 including:

🐾 Basic Obedience
🐾 Manners with People and Dogs
🐾 Off-Leash Recall
🐾 Urban Agility

He’s a sweet boy who has come into training food motivated but a little unsure of his surroundings. I’m looking forward to training together and seeing his confidence grow 📈!

Let’s be honest, graduations 🎓 should always involve a Pup-Cup! (Or ice cream 🍦).

Bingo 🐶 moved in with The Lunn Family after his prior owner went off to college. Samantha reached out via our website in inquire about training for their 1️⃣8️⃣ month old Aussie.

Today, she admitted if they hadn’t signed up for lessons, they probably couldn’t have kept him.

Samantha and Bingo made huge strides 🙌🏻 in his obedience and manners at home and in public. She’s able to confidently walk him past all of the dogs barking 🚫 and running the fence lines in their neighborhood; something that used to overstimulate Bingo and was miserable for Samantha. Their communication is also so much better! Aussies are a lot of fun, and having the proper tools of communication and obedience in place have helped to enhance their relationship ☺️.

Banner, Casper and Cooper are here for a ✨Stay and Play✨ while their owners travel.

All three of these pups have done prior training with us and I love that they come back for visits 🥰. Banner and Casper will have some Add-On Training to work on tricks and stay fresh on their obedience 📚.

In between training m, walks and naps, they found the one muddy spot in the yard and love to play right there 🤦‍♀️. Baths are in the future for these pups! 🛁

Layla the 7️⃣ month old Husky Mix graduated from ✨Private Lessons✨ this morning!

This girl loves to learn 📚. Layla and her owner, Margaret, not only mastered a great foundation of obedience, but also some tricks 👻 along the way! Her husband took Layla to Lowe’s recently to do some shopping and was impressed with how polite she was 🥰.

I’m going to miss working with this pair, but they are off to do wonderful things in the world 🌎!

Koda the 1️⃣ year old Husky graduated 🎓 from his ✨Private Lessons✨!

Yes everyone, huskies can learn too 😉. This handsome guy has improved so much with his leash manners and manners at home. Koda will still talk back every once in a while, but it’s all part of his charm 🥰.

Frank and Jerry did a wonderful job each week with their homework and have enjoyed seeing his progress!

Back from vacation 🗺️ and started with the best ✨Follow Up Lesson✨!

Ronan 🍀 and his owner have been doing so well 👍🏻 since he graduated from his ✨Board and Train✨ earlier this month. Today, we met downtown to work on his manners and obedience out in public.

Wowza did this team do great! 🤩 Mary Jo’s confidence has grown 📈 so much since his graduation lesson and today only helped to continue building it!l. She walked Ronan past joggers and bicycles downtown (things he used to react towards) with no problems ☺️ and she is looking forward to continuing field trips with him!

Banning e-collars means banning off leash freedom for the dogs we love. ✨

E-collars are the reason our dogs can run off leash, swim off leash, play off leash, hike off leash, camp off leash.

E-collars keep dogs safe. They’re there if squirrels, deer, moose or unsafe off leash dogs cross our paths.

They’re like the seatbelt you wear before you ride in the car. They’re there if you need them to keep your dog safe from harm.

They’re the reason you can trust your dog off leash and know that no matter what happens, you have value to your dog.

That because of the training you’ve done with it, your dog will come back to you no matter what’s going on around him.

You have peace of mind knowing your dog is safe and reliable when he’s off leash.

And did you know the training process, done correctly, is a breeze? It’s not about punishment, shock and awe. That’s crappy training. And that’s not how we operate.

Our training is safe, and it is humane. And in most cases, the dog is happily wagging his tail through the process.

Why?

Because we are experts in the field, and we know how to train dogs, fairly, while also getting great results!

The e-collar is clarity ✨

It teaches dogs to listen to us, to mind us, even when they’re off leash!

Taking away that freedom means hundreds of thousands of dogs won’t be safe off leash. They won’t be reliable. And they won’t be trustworthy.

What does that mean? It means dogs who are off leash are at risk.

At risk of getting hit by cars.

At risk of running off without a second thought.

At risk of willful disobedience when we only have their best intentions at heart.

Taking away off leash freedom is punishment our dogs don’t deserve.

And it’s furthering the agenda of a painfully inaccurate political agenda by trainers who think “OK” obedience is okay.

And it’s not.

A dog comes when called off leash 100% of the time or he doesn’t. Most of the time around most distractions is not okay.

It’s not safe.

It’s a death sentence.

I will go head-to-head DOG TO
DOG with any trainer who opposes e-collar to show whose dog has the better obedience.

Let’s go in a field of birds and squirrels and deer and off leash dogs and see whose dog listens better.

E-collar on or e-collar off. No treats. A dog whose been e-collar trained is going to be the better dog.

Why?

Because he’s been taught that when the leash comes off it’s not a free-for-all. He isn’t allowed to blow you off. He can have fun, be free, but he must obey.

And he knows that.

The campaign to ban e-collars is nothing but a political stunt. They’re trying to take our rights away as dog owners.

Our rights to compete with our dogs.

Our rights to breed.

Our rights to own the dogs of our choice and train our dogs the way we see fit.

You don’t see e-collar trainers attacking non-e-collar trainers.

Why?

Because we are too busy training dogs and minding our own business.

We live in the land of the free.

The freedom my husband, my brother, my father, my grandfather before me and I have all fought for.

This isn’t about e-collars.

It’s about freedom.

The freedom to choose.

And we will not stop fighting for it.

Sign the petition the stop the ban of e-collars! And if you have an opportunity, dog trainers, you need to !!

Show your dog’s training in action.

Show the world what humane and life-saving e-collar training looks like.

Ronan 🍀 (aka Irish) graduated from his 3️⃣ week ✨Leash Manners and Confidence Building Board and Train✨.

This 2.5 year old Irish Setter did so well 👍🏻 in training over the last three weeks. We worked on a lot of neutrality and manners around people and bicycles 🚲 , things he used to respond to even through they worked with prior companies.

I really loved getting know and work with Ronan, he loves to work, be engaged 👀, and his personality is so goofy and playful. I am looking forward to our Follow Up Lesson next week!

Samantha and Bingo started ✨Private Lessons✨ about 🎱 weeks ago and are continuing to thrive! Bingo’s manners and obedience are helping him to settle in the house 🏡 and be polite out on walks, while training sessions have been building Samantha’s confidence in herself and him. She is constantly telling me how much she is learning 📚 and how stressful life was for both of them before training, especially walks.

Today, let’s just say “oh my goodness”, so proud 🥹 of these two and the progress they have made together 🙌🏻. I’m sad we only have two lessons left, but thrilled for their balanced future together.

Sunny ☀️ had a Follow Up Lesson last night. She graduated from her ✨Manners and Obedience Board and Train✨ in September and has been living her best life at home!

We met downtown to practice more of her leash manners, obedience, and we even found some kids for her to work around ☺️.

Lil Girl graduated from her 6️⃣ Private Lessons! She was referred to us by another client and I am so grateful ☺️.

Over the last few weeks we have covered obedience, a nice loose leash heel, manners at home and play manners! Lil Girl was rescued by Vivian and they went through a brief phase where she didn’t think she would fit into the family because she was a bit wild.

With a little bit of training and giving Lil Girl clear rules, these two are thriving together! She fits in perfectly 🥰 and they are having tons of fun each day.

It’s been an absolute joy seeing these two grow together! Congratulations Vivian and Lil Girl 🎓!

Murphy’s siblings, Radar 🐾 and Daphne 💕 graduated from their ✨Private Lessons✨ and we aren’t done yet ☺️.

We will be continuing lessons 📚 after Murphy rejoins the pack to advance Radar and Daphne’s skill set. They have come so far with their manners and foundational obedience at home 🏡, so our goals for the next set of lessons will be field trips, continued confidence building and manners in public!

Goodnight 🐾 was here for the day while his parents went to a Fall Festival 🍁. This 120lb pup had lots of fun playing with Casper and Lola, then he found my secret hiding spot for the flirt pole 🤭. After he sat and stared so patiently, we had a few fun sessions playing. Personally, I love his hops 🐰. - Kelsi

Reactive Rover Bingo!

Bingo just enrolled in private lessons. Check out his before video! Phew! He’s ⚡️reactive⚡️ to everything which leads to anxiety that’s through the roof on walks! We’ll be fixing this behavior via private lesson training- getting to the root cause of his reactivity and giving him outlets for his physical and mental energy while teaching solid obedience. Can’t wait to share this boy’s progress 💫

It was a fun day to be outside ☀️ training! Our Team met up today to walk, build confidence and we even grabbed lunch with this awesome group!
