For those of you that are unaware, our pony Ted E. Bear, won the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) School Horse of the Year Award for Region 6. We are so proud of Ted and all that he does to touch the hearts of everyone he meets!! A special thanks to students and the families who wrote fantastic stories about Ted to submit with my essay for this award. CHA Judges ranked order on the following criteria: safety, service (students age range, yrs experience, skills), and personality. Region 6 is comprised of 6 states (CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME) and 5 provinces (Quebec, New Brusnwick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland/Labrador). There are 10 regions in US and Canada. There are other countries (Australia, Saudi Arabia, France, England) who have members.
