Already missing Missy, but her and her family are an example of why I love this town! 🐾

I had this sweet girl over the weekend, and towards the end of the grooming, Missy was getting antsy and I forgot to finish her feet! Her owner was very polite and let me know, but I felt TERRIBLE! It was such a small thing to forget and I felt so foolish, but her owner was patient and understanding. We just brought her back in so I could touch up those pretty feet, no big deal, but forgetting such a small thing made me sooo anxious.. Had I gotten a different reaction, it could’ve changed how I feel about my business as a whole.

So as a small, and beginner, business owner.. I just wanted to say I truly do appreciate the patience and love from the community.. and I hope my love & care for your pets show I feel the same! 🐾💕

Avoid feeding cats chocolate, caffeine, onions, garlic, and certain artificial sweeteners like xylitol. Additionally, bones, raw eggs, and excessive dairy may not be suitable for our tiny friends either!!

With dogs, steer clear of offering them chocolate, caffeine, grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, and artificial sweeteners such as xylitol. Avoiding feeding your dogs cooked bones, as it can contribute to splintering and pancreatitis.

If you’re insisting on sharing your thanks with your fluffy friend, offer them a pet-friendly alternative instead. Have a great Thanksgiving! 🙂

Halloween is today, which means we’re walking around with little ones and some of us.. dogs!

But even if your pet friend isn’t with you.. Bark Avenue is doing stop by services WITH a candy for the kids (of course..) and a trick or treat bowl for Bark Avenue! This bowl will have treats (“10% off Pampered Pup, $5 off nail trimming, free dremel with nail trimming..) or tricks (🥁🥁🥁.. A dog treat!)

Halloween comes to an end tonight, which means lots of begging fluffy friends next month! As Thanksgiving suggests, we wanna share.. But remember if you’re sharing with your pets, do it safely! 😉

* Also to add to the list, don’t feed your pets RAW POTATOES! In that form, they contain solanine, toxic to dogs.. And always double check before giving to your pet! What may be healthy for dogs could be fatal to cats.

Even if I’m not posting it, as of right now, I will /ALWAYS/ have bookings available on weekends!! I haven’t even had the opportunity for a full weekend yet, so please don’t hesitate to reach out for grooming and services! If you need an emergency grooming, there’s a high chance I can fit you in for quite literally any day during the weekend!

I am a judgement-free groomer, I don’t get bothered if your dog gets anxious at the groomers and has a few matts in his butt, or if your cat is terrified of baths and needs extra patience and care. My goal is to improve the quality of life for your beloved pet while being affordable and local, don’t be ashamed if you’ve missed a few nail appointments and can’t do it yourself.. That is what I’m here for!

A few people get worried about their pet being aggressive, reactive, or anxious.. I have muzzles in case of aggression, plenty of leashes to hold them, and before-grooming advice to help out the best I can prior to grooming. As long as you communicate and be open with me, I’ll be able to work with your animal the best I can. 🫶🏻💕

* On that note, I still have spots open for the weekend! The only thing I require of you is a vet sheet confirming your pet has had a rabies vaccination!
* On a much less happy note.. Due to a high number of last minute cancellations, if you don’t let me know until 24 hours within the grooming time, I’ll be charging a fee of 50% of the estimated total! Please understand I need to replace your spot ASAP if you are cancelling as I have an expected amount I need to make during the weekends.

- “Where does the grooming take place?”
• On the day you’re booked, I’ll have a trailer specialized for animal grooming located at my house. You drop your pet off and you’re welcome to wait or come back later. I will have crates for your animal to ensure no accidents happen while waiting for pick up.
- “What differentiates you from other groomers / salons?”
• As an animal lover and cat owner, I understand a calm and stress-free environment is vital for your pet to remain as calm as possible during the service. Booking with me ensures your pet the most stress-free environment possible as well as 1-on-1 interaction without too much distraction the environment from other animals.
- “What do you require from me before grooming?”
• I require a Veterinarian sheet confirming your pet has had rabies vaccination, as well as confirming the breed and weight.
-“What if I need to cancel my appointment?”
• Due to a high number of last minute cancellations that I cannot afford, I’ve changed my rule. If you cancel within 24 hours of the expected service, there is a 50% cancellation fee. Please understand that cancelling on short notice affects the dogs I could have and the money I make.
