What a looker. How important it is, for your blog to be able to sit out for stay in all sorts of places. A well rounded dog can focus on the handler, ignore the distractions and patiently wait in place. We think Chili nailed it better than most people can! That’s a good boy!

Zoey! Practicing her down stay outside. The last picture demonstrates an “anchor” technique. It’s a great way to give a passive correction and allows the dog to settle naturally. Almost organically, and then we would reward the calm down that the dog chose to do.

A simple, patient approach to capturing a down stay with a nervous dog that might not want to be physically placed into the position. Well done girl!

What a pleasant update! Mr.Wilbur being a great doggy citizen and enjoying learning! Wilbur had to do a board and train for some of his reactive behaviors. Since going back home he has had great success with keeping up with training! Ofocurse there are always ups and down when your dog is reactive but there’s always a silver lining! Keep up the good work Wilbur and fam!
