This is why dentistry + good nutrition is so important! This girl had sharp cheek teeth and rostral hooks.

If you can’t remember the last time your horse had their teeth done, they are due for a dental exam!

Here are some examples of why it is so important to have a yearly dental exam for your horses. They may show signs of:
🦷 losing weight
🦷dropping grain
🦷quidding
🦷trouble turning
🦷fighting the bit
🦷cribbing
But they don’t always show signs. We get our horses feet done every 6-8 weeks, it’s important they have a dental exam every six months or at least yearly, it is basic horse care.
