I wanted to post this to highlight that no matter what fancy toys or treats we use, the goal is to gain a connection with your dog! If you know how to engage your dog in play, you’ve got the key to unlock any new skill or behavior.

Special shoutout to Daisy and her owner Peggy Smits Chisholm for becoming our newest Level 3 Graduate!! Daisy joined us in level 1 class this fall and quickly became a star! (Graduating each class first try!!) Her owners are perfect models of how working hard and really caring for your dog is all you need. Though I love taking credit, Daisy’s graduation is all due to her parents! She came in week one as a blank slate and has shown all around her how well she could learn new skills and become a model citizen. I look forward to seeing what else she can accomplish besides her new “sit pretty” trick in the video below that she learned for level 3.

As a trainer my happiest moments are seeing you all achieve the goals you set out to accomplish, and you all did just that today! After countless graduations, every puppy deserves to get treated something special over the holidays before we start up our next round of classes!
