Meet Valentina, a 10-month-old 11 lb pup with a heartwarming story of recovery and love. Valentina’s journey began when she was tragically hit by a car and then dumped at the local shelter. Fortunately, the shelter recognized her need for urgent medical attention and took her to a vet for X-rays. The diagnosis revealed that Valentina required orthopedic surgery to repair her right leg, and time was of the essence to ensure her bones healed correctly. ICARE Dog Rescue stepped up right away to take her under their wings and give her a chance at a happy, healthy life. Despite the challenges she faced, Valentina has a calm temperament and is the sweetest pup! She did amazing while being groomed with us this morning. Swipe to see her before pictures! 💞☺️
