It's been a quiet year. Many people are calling in hopes to purchase a Congo African Grey. Seems to be the most popular the past couple of years. Can't say I blame them, I have 2. Thumper is 18y/o and talks up a storm. Henry( Henrietta) 16 y/0 never speaks. So there is never a guarantee one will talk.
There has been a shortage of African Greys & the price has skyrocketed because of this. Anywhere from $2400to $ 2800. I use only licensed professional breeders so attempting to obtain them elsewhere from hobbyists is out of the question. Many reasons i.e. Guarantee of health.
There is a waiting list at about six months however they are worth waiting for.
