Please keep in mind, that just because a dog is expensive, does not make it high quality. There are Cane Corsos in pet stores being sold for $6000! Pet stores are supplied by puppy mills, we recommend you do not buy any dog from a pet store.
I am the only breeder in the US that has handled and trained my own dogs to the highest levels possible in both work and show. In conformation shows, I have achieved several AKC all breed show groups placements and in work a level 3 protection sport title (IPO 3 formerly know as Schutzhund) with my own dogs. Outside of a point of personal pride, this matters because it shows my deep understanding of what it takes to be successful in those venues. It shows my commitment to this breed.
