Millie definitely has some issues with high energy dogs or kids getting near her and becomes wary and nervous. Come November she's going to be a big sister to a baby boy for her owners. So here in training we are working to desensitize her to how that might be for her. The goal is not to make a dog best friends with every child. It is to foster neutrality and a focus on command first and there are many ways to build from there as a child gets older.

Twins!! With attitude!😎😂 Let us introduce this adorable duo, Michael and Mac.🥰 Here for a board and train with Dean and he has his work cut out. Some resource guarding, reactivity and neither wants to listen. They can feed off each other, so it is important to get both dogs on board with structure and communication for an easier life at home. They are just the cutest and we can’t wait to show you some updates with us!!🥰

Sigrid was found running the streets of Richmond and the old owners were found and no longer wanted her. She has sat at the kennel for a long time and when we got the call we had to step in and give some free training and help her find a real home that will love her as much as she will love them. We already have an adopter that has stepped up and will get this amazing dog! I am only a couple days into training her and she has already shown us how amazing she is! Standby for another transformation!

Zoey was spoiled and got to take a beach day! She worked around distractions and got a lot of attention today at Yorktown beach, strutting herself like a good girl! 🥰🏖️☀️

Olive is going home after her 2 weeks with Dean and crushed her board and train! She came to us uncontrollably reactive and now check out her progress around all the distractions at Pine Fork!😎

Hank is a white German Shepherd mix and needs a new home. Andy did a 2 week board and train with him and will train his new owners and continue the guarantee on training for whoever is interested. His obedience amazing. Confident on and off leash and great with other dogs. He is not a fan of small kids and this is the reason he’s been rehomed no fault to the owners. They have done everything they could for the last couple years to make it work with Hank and their family. It would be best if his new family did not have small children. Although you see that he is totally fine being around the kids. He does not appreciate attention from small children, so it would be best if they are not present in his new. Otherwise Hank is a very happy and relaxed dog. If you are interested in adopting Hank you can email his owner at [email protected] If you have questions, please post below!

Emmie is almost 1 and has led her life far too attached to her fear issues. Any stimulus, sound or sight, person or vehicle would startle her to the point she would flip around on the leash and attempt to run from her owner. Her fear issues also caused a couple bites at home with family. This caused a massive issue for their quality of life. After a lot of time and patience with us to teach her how to refocus her mind and gather confidence in the right things and her owner has a new way to manage these issues and create a more confident, happy and obedient dog. 🐕❤️🇺🇸

Winnie the Golden vs Dean the 6 year old. 🏆

Dobby spent 6 months in a shelter with no chance to get adopted. He is making big progress on his obedience with us now and getting lots of play time with some other dogs! Dobby is up for adoption and training will go with him from us! Prince George County Animal Shelter is where you can apply to adopt him! ❤️🐕🇺🇸

Valentino the mini poodle was spunky and full of energy! Check him out after 2 weeks with us and now back home with his owners! ❤️🐕

Layla has some serious dog reactivity that prevented her owner from even being able to walk with her. For training, the goal is neutrality, not to make Lola friends with other dogs. The latter is an inappropriate goal most of the time. Watch Laya at different parts of her training as she slowly learns some new habits to go home with!! 🇺🇸😎

Little update from Waffles, Max, Ares and Layla who all made a bass pro run to work out away from the rain yesterday!
