Captain here thinks he is in charge and the captain on the ship. This adorable 5 year old pitbull likes to instigate his siblings at home and starts fights. Dean is setting the foundation of obedience and giving this dude some rules and structure at home so his family can manage him. He is already getting the approval to be on Santas nice list. You got this Captain!!

We have leveled up and are now training frogs!! 🐸 🤣Okay we joke- he may resemble an adorable little frog, but Bruiser is a handsome 9 year old Boston terrier who has become reactive and barks at the new baby. We need to set some rules for him in the house. He’s in our lesson program and we’re going to make sure mom and dad are successful with turning this frog into a Prince! 👑

Maggie had zero obedience had never been conditioned to using a leash properly, let alone commands. She was very nervous and reactive around every stimulus, so teaching her a solid foundation was paramount before exposing her to the distractions to work her around. Teamwork makes the dream work! We wanted to share an update we recieved from New Kent Elementary school who is seeing and feeling the great success and benefits of Bowie the Therapy Dog at their school. Last week, an ambulance was called out for a young girl in an emergency and Bowie was there from start to finish and never left her side and comforted her the whole time. The school did a great job and especially Bowie who did his job well and helped ease a probably scary situation for her. This is exactly why we promote what we have found a passion for. While taking our dog Winnie to school, Dr. O’dea felt her dog has a personality to want to help people and when we saw Bowie, we also agreed. All he needed was a little obedience shape up, but knew he’d pass that test and his calling was to help kids and staff. We’re so grateful to have been able to spread the love of how much dogs can help us in this world and spread joy and smiles. Dr. O’dea is the principal and she is a great handler using Bowie not only as behavioral tool for the kids, but comfort dog to connect with them and balance emotional needs. We love getting updates and wanted to share because you can’t spread a message alone. You have to work together and a community who supports each other is what makes one thrive. Great job Bowie! We are proud of you!!!!🙌💙🖤💙🖤
