We have had a nice handful of Board and Trains here since the beginning of the year, and I have had some great feedback with their ongoing success!

We worked out some "Home/Pack Balancing Barriers" and finally very EXCITED to see our new training area come together! Working on those pesky details with our contractors, like doors🤪, but we will definately be ready to start the "Hang and Train" program back up with more space!

Starting July 8th!!!!

These beautiful "Blonde Bombshells" work every day with their handlers, Thalia Grundstrom and Leigh Broughan, to support the kiddos from being overwhelmed, to sensory integration, and even a place to wipe their runny noses.

I'm so grateful to be a part of their story. ♥️

CONGRATULATIONS to Cheryl Zimba Anthony for her new rescue, "MINX" 💜

MINX, along with her 3 sisters were rescued from an accidental breeding, by Shepherds Beyond Borders. These magnificent Dutch Shepherd and Malinois pups have given me a new appreciation of the "Working Dog", and all that they require.

I am especially appreciative of Cheryl having the confidence in me for some Board and Train time with her, before she brings her home. 🥰

The true test will be if Cheryl can make it till then? 🤣 Anyone have any guesses?

Newest "HANG and TRAIN" kid on the block, 4 month old MAISIE, is learning quickly to offer me behaviors so I can CAPTURE the desired behavior I am looking for.

I enjoy starting Pups education with this positive reinforcement method, instead of the typical Basic Commands method. It builds Confident, Bold, and Resilient dogs by giving them a chance to think instead of being told what to do.

Dont tell BEE, but she's getting much benefit from it too🤭

HEARTLEAF Therapy Dog in training, MOXIE and handler Thalia working on "Checking In" with each other as they navigate the environment.

Thalia provides opportunities for MOXIE to "Think" and she rewards wisely. 7 month old MOXIE, and Thalia, have learned to "Check In" with each other before GREETINGS, and as they TRANSITION into a building or room.
