I am an experienced and skilled dog handler, sitter and behavior trainer. I have experience with all breeds, sizes and special needs animals. If you are looking for someone to help you communicate better with your dog or just a sitter you can trust while you're away, you've found the right person. Animals have always been the passion and drive in my life, but I have finally decided to pursue it as
a career instead of a hobby. Growing up, I spent the majority of my time outside playing with dogs and horses, and often joke that I speak dog better than human. I have an innate ability to understand dogs, what they're feeling and how to best communicate with them. Working with dogs is not only my passion, but my calling. My life makes sense when I am working with a dog, be it yours or my own, and I would love the opportunity to help you with your dog. I do not use aversives in my training methods whatsoever. I believe that positive reinforcement and behavior modification through gentle techniques not only provides the dog with a better learning experience, but also provides stronger, more reliable results than traditional training methods. I love clicker training, but can adapt to whatever my learner needs and responds to best. My specialties include separation anxiety, timid/shy dogs and leash pulling, but are certainly not limited to those things. I can also assist with potty training, aggressiveness and basic obedience. In my training sessions, I will go to great lengths to ensure you and your dog are talking the same language and that you see the results you want. I spent about 10 years in my hometown working with my local humane society. It was through that work that I discovered positive reinforcement training and the very dramatic effect it had on shelter dogs. From there, I relentlessly pursued all knowledge I could find on the topic to help fine tune my natural ability to "talk dog." I am an avid student of Karen Pryor's, Jean Donaldson's, and Zak George's training techniques, just to name a few. I make sure to stay up to date on current training trends, general nutrition and basic care of all animals, but specifically dogs. I also have experience administering medicine (including injections), assisting dogs of all sizes with mobility issues as well as senior dogs who just need a little extra care. You should NEVER attempt to do what Iâm doing unless with or under the supervision of an experienced behavior modification trainer, like me. Scoobyâs desensitization to the bunnies will take time, patience & consistency. Weâve already made progress as thereâs no barking and/or whining, just intense watching.

When sitting, the petsâ lives in my care revolve around my visits & time with them. Each pet is different & has different needs. Lift & Szeth are high energy breeds & both prone to general anxiety/timidity, as well as separation anxiety. To help them feel more comfortable in their parentsâ absence, I walk them at every visit to help them burn off energy & anxiety. Our walks are always followed by a good play session.

Szeth & Lift are not only training clients, but sitting clients. Nothing is more important to me when Iâm caring for your pets in your absence than your fur babies feeling happy & well loved.

Milli, Jackson & I always enjoy a good play session post walks. Play is incredibly important for dogs & greatly strengthens their bond with you.
