🎉🐾 **Celebrating a Year of Success for Fix Grayson County KY!** 🐾🎉

2024 has come to a close, we are overjoyed to share an incredible milestone: 587 cats and dogs were successfully spayed and neutered through our organization! Thanks to your support, this marks a monumental step in our mission to reduce pet overpopulation in Grayson County.

In 2024, we also achieved another dream: our first successful spay/neuter clinic in Leitchfield!💙

None of this would have been possible without YOU —our amazing followers, generous donors, and devoted supporters.

Special thanks to our incredible board members, your dedication and passion inspire us every day, as well as everyone at Crate Escape, LLC and Friends of Butler County Animals. Together, we’re making a lasting impact for the animals and families of Grayson County.

Our first clinic at Crate Escape, LLC with Dr. Hollis - Legacy Mobile Veterinary Services was a success! 1 dog spayed, 6 dogs neutered, 8 cats neutered and 6 cats spayed 🤗 We look forward to working with her and her awesome technician again soon!

We do not have another date yet for Leitchfield, but we will announce that as soon as we do. In the meantime our neighbors, Friends of Butler Co Animals spay neuter clinic have weekly openings in Morgantown for dogs (Females
$90, Males $70) and cats (Females $55, Males $45), you can book on their website www.theSNclinic.com

Tomorrow December 27th, we are partnering with not only Crate Escape, LLC but Dr. Hollis - Legacy Mobile Veterinary Services to have a small low cost spay neuter clinic in Leitchfield!

GRAYSON COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY

LIMITED AVAILABILITY
FULL - Spots for Male dogs under 50lbs ($70)
FULL - Spots for Female cat ($50)
Unlimited Male cat spots ($40)

A prepayment will be due today in order to hold your pets spot!

Once your request has been approved, drop off is this evening between 4:30-6:00pm ($20 boarding fee applied for dogs) or tomorrow morning between 7:30-8:30am. Pick-up will be tomorrow between 4:30-6:00pm.

🐶Pupdate🐶

Thank you to everyone that donated and sent well wishes, Baymax’s surgery went really well yesterday and he is recovering with our friends at Proud Pups Rescue Inc for a few days in case there are any complications. We know it’s a lot to look at, but he will have less pain in the long run from doing an amputation of his left leg. Now he needs cage rest for his pelvis to heal.

He is the absolute sweetest boy that is looking for a new caring forever home so we would love to do a foster to adopt situation for him. You can apply on our website www. Leitchfield Animal Shelter .com

This kitten was originally adopted from the Leitchfield Animal Shelter. She was recently diagnosed with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) which sometimes develops after feline coronavirus (this type of coronavirus has been around for tens of years longer than human coronavirus)! 😳 Take a look at that belly!

Her treatment is expected to last 12 weeks and is going to cost around $500😬

The shelter does not offer medical help after adoption so we reaFix Grayson County KYds at Fix Grayson County KY and they were able to start helping with the treatments! We would like to see if we can get our community to help with the remainder of the treatment!
