Has your pet gone missing?

Here are some steps to take so your pet can be reunited with you:
1. Notify your local Animal Control office.
2. Notify your neighbors.
3. Post flyers and photos/description on social media.
4. Notify local veterinarians, shelters, microchip companies, and Missing Dogs Massachusetts if you lost your dog.
5. Go out and look!

To ensure your pet is reunited with you, make sure your pet is wearing a collar with tags that have up-to-date contact information. Also, microchip your pet and register it with your information.
Out of the millions of pets that go missing each year, only about 15% of dogs and 2% of cats are reunited with their owner if they do not have tags on and are not microchipped.
