Please keep our sweet girl in your prayers tonight. She has been showing lots of weakness in her legs today and has struggled to even stand for a couple hours tonight. We are giving her lots and lots of love and cuddles and we are so proud of her for continuing to be so strong and to keep fighting. We’re hoping to be able to take her to our vet on Monday to reevaluate everything and we’ll keep you all posted! We greatly appreciate everyone that has messaged us to check on her! She’s one special Momma!! 💜

Quick update on Momma! 💜

Edited to add: the vet also reassured us that lymphoma is NOT genetic, so none of her puppies are at a higher risk just because she has it! That was the ONLY good news! 🫶🏼

We’ve had quite a few messages the last couple days asking how Momma Paislee is doing. We can’t thank you all enough for the love and prayers you’ve sent her way!!

She’s been on steroids for a little over a week now and she seems to be handling them well. She does have a super swollen lymph node in her groin area and it’s causing some redness on her skin. I called the vet this morning and they told us it’s just part of the disease progression. It doesn’t seem to be bothering her at this point, so that’s good news. We were given the okay to increase her steroid dosage too. Hopefully that’ll help some!!

We know it’ll be a very hard decision when that day comes, but as long as she seems happy and not miserable, she’ll be right here with us. And by us, I mean she’ll be right by my side- where she always is! Attached to my hip! And I wouldn’t have it any other way!!

Please keep our sweet Momma Paislee in your prayers! I know a dog is just a dog to some people, but she is MY GIRL and literally always by my side.

We found out (officially) today that she has lymphoma. We’re starting her on steroids tomorrow and that will hopefully slow down the progression, but she doesn’t have a good prognosis and my heart is absolutely broken for her! Pray that she will have so many more good days and blow all of our minds at how well she’s doing. As of right now, she doesn’t have any clinical signs and I’m holding onto as much hope as I can! Also pray for us to be able to make the right decision in a difficult time when that time comes so we aren’t putting her through something terrible on her little body!

Happy 1st birthday to Teeter, Beckett, Bailey, Rip, Linnix, King, Hobson, and Mia! Mia’s is technically tomorrow, the 25th because she was born after midnight!

Peep the hat on Teeter today! Crazy how big the hats were when they were born and now you can barely see them through the fluff! 😍

Happy 2nd birthday (yesterday and today) to Rizzo, Keita, Ruthie, Faith, Fletcher, Nitchie, Bohdi, Ivy, Xena, Mackey, and Zoe! 🥳🎈

We were hoping to be announcing a litter soon because Momma Paislee had a heat cycle last month. However, my grandpa got put on hospice care and ended up passing away, which meant I was very preoccupied with his care. I wanted to make sure Momma was getting all the time, attention, and prenatal care she needed so we decided to hold off on puppies this time around. Hopefully we can plan for another litter of puppies in the fall!! 🫶🏼
