It’s time for another puppy training tip from Gardenia! 🧠 Now that Fido knows its name, it’s time to be sure we are using it correctly. 🐶 Create a positive association with the name. For a couple of weeks, be ready to reward your puppy EVERY time you say their name. Time for a training tip from Gardenia! 🧠 Puppy Training Tip #1: Start with teaching the puppy its name! 🐶 How to: Get a handful of your puppy’s favorite treats, stand by your puppy and say their name. As soon as the puppy looks up at you, reward them with a treat. 🦴 Repeat for 30 seconds to a minute as many times as possible throughout the day.
