A brief history and projection
Our farm sits on 24-acres in the hills of Western MA. The house is a Colonial built in 1748 and was the homestead of Lt. Jonathan Brown (Revolutionary war). It has been a tomato farm and horse boarding facility in the past, amongst several other entities. The land is rich in New England history with old forest and your classic New England stone walls scattered within the wooded areas. We purchased the property as a New England family of four with a passion for horses and rural living. As we settled into this property, we felt the land and farm was much more than a place to have a few horses thus, our farm has expanded to include five horses, goats, a donkey, bunnies, chicks, one cat, and our dogs. It is a functioning small farm. Our goal is to create a fun farm environment for friends, families, and to eventually produce small farm products such as eggs, goat milk/cheese, kid interaction/photo’s with animals, etc. Please join us as we continue to establish our homestead and experience the struggles along with the joys and humor of raising our animals and living a farm family life.
