People often don’t know that poor behavior often stems from poor nutrition! One of the most important parts of caring for a happy, healthy, dog is providing good nutrition. It may be difficult for your dog to be on their best behavior if their body isn’t feeling good.

As a good rule of thumb, look at the first five ingredients of your dog’s food. Is it a meat? A grain? A vegetable? (Hint: your dog is a carnivore.)

Last weekend I was fortunate to be able to attend the Sean Siggins PSA Working Dog Seminar. PSA (Protection Sports Association) is a competitive sport combines high level, off leash obedience with intense bite work. It was amazing to learn from one of the top trainers in the sport! Some great dogs came out to train and new decoys got to practice catching dogs.
