We often run into horse's where people leave them out on pasture. You can see the distortion in her hooves, remember it is important to get regular maintenance on your horse's hooves just like your vehicles.
Previous guy would not trim this guy since he was a mule. The owner had drugs on hand we never opened the box. What a great mule and very pretty as well.

Helping this guy with miner Navicular get some wedges on for relief and some pads for his thin soles. Before he gets back to roping.
We worked on the guy today. He had flare on the medial side of his near hind hoof, due to exce length of the medial hoofwall. This was most likely caused from imbalanced trimming and shaping the shoe to the flare from the previous hoof care provider. He is balanced now and walking beautifully. We will see him at his next appointment.
