As the summer temps come rolling in, Sherlock here would like to remind everyone about summer safety tips! His shaded kuranda bed gives him the right amount of sun and protection for a dog that loves to sunbathe for hours on end. And yes y’all, even doggos (especially the white ones or with very thin fur) need sunscreen on places like their noses or where skin is exposed! Lastly, be cautious of the heat of the ground on your walks. Try going out later or investing in some protective booties for those paws! Have a safe summer in the sun!

It’s with heavy hearts we share the news that one of our Power Pups has crossed over Rainbow Bridge.

Maya was dumped at a shelter as a senior dog. They had to remove all but one tooth, she had dementia and was mostly deaf.

Our rescue pulled her from the shelter after which our President adopted Maya into her family. She was named after a deaf female superhero.

We are so grateful her remaining time was spent being loved by her family. Her human siblings always made sure to include her in playtime even if she was simply napping.

Rest easy, sweet girl. ❤️🌈🐾
