Friendly reminder that I am still pet sitting up until little man decides to make an appearance, this summer. Thereā€™s still so much time to book care for your furbabies. I would love to meet you. Please send us a message for any inquiries or to set up a meet and greet.

After baby is here, while I may need to take a short break, I will surely be back. I canā€™t leave my pet care family for good.

Happy New Year, Delaney Pet Care family!!!

We have quite a bit of news- I am heading into 2025 growing a tiny human! Baby should arrive late June, early July. šŸ„°

We will remain open for booking until little one decides to arrive orā€¦ put me on bed rest.

Rest assured, we want to continue watching furry friends until this point.

DesWell has been so supportive in helping me keep my business going. There has never been a furry friend that did not like him. His support is one of the main reasons I am able to run this incredible network Iā€™ve built over the years.

Happy December!!!

I know I had announced the closing of our business, howeverā€¦ life doesnā€™t always turn out the way you plan it to. Therefore, Delaney Pet Care will remain open for the time being. We are especially ready to book for Christmas! While we may need to scale back a bit, we still want to book clients.

Hiii friends,

I had posted earlier stating that all overnights were ending after Dec 1, however due to some other life changes, it is my decision that I will be stopping all visits drop in and overnight, for the time being.

This absolutely breaks my heart as I have loved growing my business and catering to so many amazing families and animals. Unfortunately, I can no longer fufill the responsibilities I once was. Itā€™s time for me to begin a new chapter of life.

This is not goodbye, this is see everyone later.
I am not closing this chapter but simply taking an intermission to attend to new responsibilities and developments in my life.

I love you guys more than you can ever know.

Hi friends!!
As everyone knows, I am getting married November 30. It breaks my heart to post this, but with me transitioning into a new era of lifeā€¦

As of December 1st, I will no longer be booking overnight visits. šŸ˜¢

I will continue to schedule drop ins as my schedule allows, as I cannot completely leave a job I love so much. I know that this is going to be disappointing to a lot, but I promise I will help everyone as best I can to finding alternative overnight care for their babies.

I still want to accommodate drop ins as well and that means later night drop ins. Please message me with any questions or concerns, and I will be happy to discuss options with you.

While Iā€™m taking a step back, Iā€™m not completely leaving. Iā€™m just trying to make time for my soon to be new husband and our kitties.

I love all of you guys so much and I thank you so much for your support. šŸ¾ ā¤ļø

I havenā€™t formally introduced myself-

My name is Ireland!
Iā€™m 25. I live in Kearneysville with my fiancĆ© and our two kitties Miso & Chester. (When Iā€™m not staying in other peopleā€™s houses caring for animals šŸ˜) My fiancĆ© and I get married November 30.

I grew up with my mom, dad, and sister who is in her senior year at college.

I have always loved animals ever since I was very young. Weā€™ve always had cats and when I was a little girl, I had to pet every dog I saw. (I still do). Iā€™ve been running my business for 4 years now, ever since I graduated from WVU. I never thought I would have so many amazing clients. Itā€™s truly the best feeling in the world.

When Iā€™m not caring for animals, Iā€™m caring for people. I am also a therapist. I have a Bachelorā€™s and a Masterā€™s in Psychology. I do find puppy and kitty snuggles to be super therapeutic šŸ„°šŸ¾. I truly have the best of both worlds and Iā€™m so blessed.

Unfortunately their owner had a medical emergency and had to have their gallbladder removed.

At Delaney Pet Care, we want to be there for those last minute emergencies so you are worry free when it comes to your fur babies being cared for.

Please send their owner a smooth and healthy recovery. We know Edison and Lucy will be the best nurses. ā¤ļø

ANY service cancelled 72 hours before date of initiation, will pay 50% total cost of services.

Last minute cancellations (without extenuating circumstances) will not be tolerated.

Overnight services still require a 50% deposit before booking is secured.

Happy National Dog Day!!

We have so many doggies in our pet care family that we love so much.

Todayā€™s spotlight is on Vulcan.

This boy truly has my heart and soul. Vulcan has come leaps and bounds since I first started watching him. While he has no evil intentions, he is fear reactive. Sweet boy has been through some trauma and his reactivity reflects thatā€¦ but his WONDERFUL owners and trainer have worked incredibly hard to help Vulcan, and their work shows.

Vulcan is always happy to see me, is always jumping on my lap, and LOVES to play ball. He also met my fiancƩ and they are best buds, too. Vulcan is super smart and obeys very well. He knows all basic commands and I swear I have conversations with him at times.

Just a reminder, a reactive dog is not always an aggressive dogā€¦ and Vulcan is a prime example of this.

Gaining Vulcanā€™s trust and becoming so bonded to him is one of the main reason I became a pet sitter. Iā€™m so proud of him and his owners.

I meanā€¦ look at that smile šŸ˜šŸ„°šŸ¾
