These babies have taken off! They were a rescue. When I got them there was some green but mostly looked like wooded stems, you can really see it in the 1st picture. However, new growth is really taking over. These are stapelia gigantia, also known as starfish plant. It is fuzzy spineless succulent that blooms these INCREDIBLE fuzzy star flowers! Check in the comments to see the bloom. I hope for a bloom this year! Let's follow these beauties journeys into healthy plants I can eventually share and propagate.

Echeveria Black Prince. I would like to have one that has that blacker hue but mine is green 🥰 one day I'll get a baby from this big fella and give that one more sun exposure, because fun fact: the more sun the blacker this plant gets. Picture in the comments of one that is kept in the sun for more than 8 hours a day. Also with the greener ones the "leaves" are longer because they are reaching for sunlight. The blooms on this are going to be amazing!!! The shoots popped up 2 weeks ago and we are finally about to BURST!!! I will update as soon as they do.

I use metal shelves outside for some of my plants and this really helps me give shade to the ones that need it! This week has been about my wandering dude. I have 2 multivine plants on the second shelf. And the lighting is perfect there! Only about 3-4 hours of direct sunlight. They are easy indoor plants, a little harder to maintain outside but absolutely doable! Partial to full shade and moist soil is the key to keep this plant happy. If your wandering dude is super happy and healthy it will bloom little flowers!!! I have yet to see it with mine, but it is a goal.

I have propagated a few small babies off my wandering dude... If you would like a clipping let me know! I have plenty to share.

The care for this plant is minimal ... The biggest no no is over watering. It likes moist soil all the time but not soggy. Partial to full shade (makes it great indoors by a window). To avoid over watering just make sure it has a good draining system in the pot... I put rocks at the bottom as well as holes in the bottom of the pot, to insure no standing water.

She's a creeper! Zebrina pendula, is a species of creeping plant in the Tradescantia genus. Common names include silver inch plant and wandering Jew. The latter name is controversial, and some now use the alternative wandering dude.
It is another low light/indoor beauty. I started this one from just one vine clipping!

Little Warty is doing much better! With that dead limb gone it will thrive and grow! 🪴 So excited this little one has a baby! I had to move some soil around to cut that leaf off, and BAM! Little little Warty appeared! You can see the baby in the last picture just to the right of OG Little Warty.

✨Little Warty check-in✨
So that brown spot has taken the full leaf .. I did not catch it in time😔. This may look bad, buuuut succulents are tough as hell... Just cut this limb off with something SHARP.. and a new one will grow back or if you're lucky a new plant baby will grow. Check back for after pictures.

Goals!! This is a little Warty in bloom... They take at least a year to fully bloom. They flower in late spring/early winter. With a low maintenance plant like this, it is perfect as an indoor succulent. Just like other succulents you can propagate this one with just the leaves, or like the one pictured it could produce full baby plants. **t

Let's introduce the first plant this is "Little Warty".
Gasteria little warty care is minimal as they are low-maintenance succulents. Little water and minimal sunlight. The brown spot you see on mine is sunburn. We have moved him to a low light area and will check back in a couple weeks to check on that brown spot.

I did it. I finally made a page for all thing plants! My garden is over flowing and I want a place to document it all. Welcome to my garden 💚
