This little cute silver marten buck can go to a meat breeder. He has lovely type but is unshowable due to having a white foot. I don’t feel like butchering in the cold so he is available for a limited time to a meat herd for cheap. Carries dilute and possibly chocolate.

I have a fun little breeding age trio ready for new sights. Basically a get two get one free.

The first three pics are of KH1, Plute’s Cristini. I’ll probably kick myself later for letting go of this pretty boy but I kept back way more breeders than I typically do last year and I’m going to be out of room once I start weaning litters this year lol. He carries dilute and has the potential to carry chocolate. He is proven.

The next three pics are of GS2, Plute’s Sweet Pie. This doe is beautiful and solid. Out of my buck with 6 GC legs. Has the potential to carry dilute and chocolate.

The last three pics are of KB4, Plute’s Phoebe. This doe is small and is being offered with the other two at no charge. I believe her size is environmental and not genetic or she would be stew. I bred her once and she unfortunately lost the litter. She is rebred to my main herdsire. Take her or leave her, I’d be happy to see how she produces. She also has the potential to carry dilute and chocolate.

Over the next 2 days 10 does will get nest boxes. Most of which very obviously have bellies full of babies. I’ve already had two successful litters this year as well. Looks like this year is getting off to a much better start than last year! 🤞🏻

I’ve been back and forth on if I want to let this doe go but she just doesn’t pair with my current bucks as well as my other does and I’d rather have the space. Plute’s KH2 (Ducky) is a 6 month old black silver marten doe. She is currently a couple ounces shy of senior weight (price reflects that) but I expect that will change shortly. Other than her weight she is show quality and something I would gladly show myself. She carries dilute and has a chance to carry chocolate. Pick up is in Mannford, OK. No holds. 💲6️⃣0️⃣

Remember folks, it’s just as important to cull for temperament as it is for body type. Nasty attitudes, poor mothering skills, etc, are all things that can pass on and on. They need to be beautiful, functional, and handleable. My grandma always said “pretty is as pretty does”.

I may or may not have gone off the deep end… but I welcomed new zealands back to the farm! I am thrilled with these blacks from TLM Rabbitry and also very excited to welcome back one of my own broken blues that I had given to a youth when I got out of New Zealands 2.5 years ago. Cheese Pizza is going through one heck of a molt so I found a baby picture of her.

Just a joke lol. Plutes Single Lady is still very much alive and fat as three pigs.

Very happy to have Plute’s Single Lady back in the barn. She’s one I’ve never gotten any litters from. She’s beautiful, has shown quite well, but is notoriously hard to breed and gets fat on air. I gave her to a friend who didn’t have any marten does yet to see if she would have any luck. And boy did she! Single Lady kindled 16 kits in one of her litters there. And she lifted straight away when I got her home so hopefully we’ll have some Single Lady kits next month. Hopefully not 16 of them though 😅

Surprise I have angoras now! These are satin angoras but I also have English angoras. I’ve had them all for a few months now and am very excited about them. #rabbit #rabbits #angora #angorarabbit #satinangora #englishangora
