Happy Monday and final day of introductions!

Meet Boda (short for Angrboda), Lydia’s 12 week old GSD and the newest member of the High 5 K9 pack! Boda is very playful and smart so far. Boda has been working her way through basic obedience quite quickly and she loves to annoy her brothers! We look forward to getting Boda solid on her obedience and start scent work!

We almost forgot our next pooch! Today we are onto Lydia’s middle child (not including the kitty).

Meet Veggie! Veggie is a Sheltie who was born blind and deaf! We think it’s good he was born that way rather than developing it later on as he doesn’t know any different and lives a very happy life! Veggie doesn’t have any special jobs like the rest of the gang, but he knows how to sit and that’s pretty cool! He’s a big cuddle bug who loves to nap and get butt scratches.

How old do we think this baby is? He just had a birthday a week ago!

Onto number 4, Creed!

Creed is Bill’s second GSD and he is a search and rescue dog! Creed is playful and super smart even though sometimes he doesn’t act it. Creed loves to entertain the energetic pups that see us and may still need to do some learning when it comes to playing fair, but Creed is a great teacher. Creed also loves going on atv rides through the woods with his human.

Meet the crew part 3! Today we are introducing Lydia’s fur baby, Bouncer!

Can you guess how old he is?
Hint: we are going oldest to youngest!

Bouncer is a cardiac alert service dog and we have hopes to get him into some agility recreationally. Bouncer is half boxer and half Pitbull. He his almost as much of a love bug as Axle and is always up to do what his mom asks of him whether it’s nap all day on the couch or spend all day hiking. Bouncer loves to meet new people and show off his skills. Come see the momma’s boy!

Our second member of the High 5 K9 crew! Meet Axle, the St. Bernard and Bernese Mountain dog. Axle is trained as an autism service dog and he is so so good at his job! He is a BIG ball of love and all he ever wants is to be loved by his people. Axle is a true gentle giant who looks out for his sissy (Bella) and is always there when someone needs a hug.

Want to get to know your High 5 K9 family a little better? What better way than to start with introducing your trainers’ own fur babies? Each day this week we will introduce a different member of our pack.

Bonus!: can you guess their age (no cheating! 😉)?

Today we are starting off with Queen B herself! Bella is a GSD trained as a PTSD service dog and in scent work! Bella is the leader of our pack and keeps everyone in line - us humans especially! Bella is sassy and sweet, enjoys watching the ID channel with her dad, and loves to catch the frisbee! Say hello to Bella next time you come by! We look forward to seeing how many years young you think Bella is and we’ll be back with Axle tomorrow! 🐾

Me, Lydia, Lauren, Matt & baby Oaklynn took Bella, Axle & Creed to a pet event at Tractor Supply on Saturday. We had a canopy/booth set up for High5K9 Academy, Coastal Carolina Search Team and All Pawz Inn pet sitting services.
