PSA: Regarding Canine Respiratory Disease

I’m sure many of you have heard about the Canine Respiratory Disease going around the U.S. right now. And if you haven’t, now you have.

The symptoms include: coughing, sneezing, eye or nose discharge, lethargic, loss of appetite, dehydration, difficulty or rapid breathing.

Veterinarians say that most cases start out as a cough that will not go away. Severe cases turn into pneumonia, then death.

As dog owners ourselves, we understand how scary this disease is. That is why we are taking this very seriously. We are doing everything in our power to prevent any of our guests from getting this.

As we do our part in taking precautions, we also ask that you do too. If your dog has any of the symptoms above, please let us know BEFORE you bring your dog. Each dog will be assessed before they enter the kennel area to make sure they do not have any symptoms. If your dog does have symptoms, we will not be able to complete the service requested. We have to do what is best for the health and safety of our clients and we hope you understand.

Hi! I just wanted to officially introduce myself as I am a new dog groomer in town. My name is Ashley Bouldin and I am the owner of Doggy Do's Grooming. I have 20+ years experience with training dogs, was trained to show in the ring, worked as an animal control officer, ran a dog rescue, and have been grooming for 1 yr now. I was professionally trained in Tullahoma by one of the best with an emphasis on proper double coat and doodle coat styles, care, and maintenance. I use shaping/conditioning training while I'm working with your dog on the table. I have had success working with fearful or timid dogs but it does take time. If you think I may sound like a good match for you and your dog, send me a message and we can go over any questions you may have.

I’ve had several people ask for my hours recently, so I thought I would post them here again.
Also, just a friendly reminder that this is APPOINTMENT ONLY. Meaning that when you book with me, you will pick a time within these hours, for drop off/pick up. If you do not book with me and you just show up with your dog, this will not be accepted.

It’s also important to remember that I do in-home visits as well during these hours. This means that I am not always at home. I schedule these visits around my pickup and drop offs. Therefore, you should always let me know if for some reason you are planning to arrive earlier or later than the time we agreed on.

As always, I am so thankful for all of my amazing clients and supporters. Without you guys, I wouldn’t be living my dream! 💗
