Meet Marvin and Vinny!

Vinny is the black lab/pitbull mix and Marvin is the tan and white pitbull
I started daycare with them about a year ago and we have created a lot of memories!
We have a routine that starts with separate on-leash potty breaks then a refreshing water break. Next, they each get a toy and we run to the basement for playtime!

There is never a dull moment!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

I am now a PROFESSIONAL Pet Sitter!

After 6 months of classes and lots of tests, I (Sam Spagnuolo) have finished my Certification Course with the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS)! ..
The course covered topics related to pet sitting, pet care, health, nutrition and behavior for a variety of animals. These pets included dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, turtles, and fish.
Most importantly, I am Pet First Aid and CPR Certified!

I travel to YOU so your pet(s) can stay in their comfort zone!

This service is great for:
~ people who work long hours
- someone who is out of town for the day
~ the pet owner that works at home and needs their pet(s) occupied

Typical Pet Visit Schedule for Sam:
~ Travel to your home
~ Once I arrive, I will text you a photo of your pet (this is my way of "clocking in")
~ When I arrive at the house, that's when the 30 minutes start
~ I spend the time with your pet and do the activities discussed in the Meet and Greet
~ Once I am finished, I will text you a small summary of what we did during our visit!

EVERY service is designed specifically for each customer. Some pets need more attention than others. We will discuss everything at the Meet and Greet when it comes to your pet(s) or house needs!

Franklin will be 3 years old on August 14th! He is a try-color Pembroke Welsh Corgi! Franklin was a graduation gift from my family when I graduated in December of 2020.
He LOVES mashed banana and PB in his frozen Kongs.
He also loves running and playing fetch!

FAQ:
Why did you change the name of your business?

I changed my business name from Superior Bark to Marquette's Pet for two main reasons...

1. I have been working with more than just dogs in the past year. I want clients to know that I work with ALL pets!

2. There are other pet businesses around town with the word "Superior" in their name. I wanted to differentiate myself from them. However, I do appreciate every single worker in the Pet Industry!

I travel to YOUR home so your pet(s) can stay in their comfort zone! This makes life easier for everyone involved!

Typical Overnight Schedule for Sam:
~Arrive to house at 5pm for the night
~Leave next morning at 9am
~One check-in during the day for potty breaks and snuggles!

This service includes: Feeding, giving medication, potty breaks, walks, play time (inside or outside), bring in mail, water plants, and cleaning up before I leave.

SUPER-DUPER EXCITING NEWS!!!

I am so happy to officially announce MARQUETTE’S PETS as the new name of my business!

For the past 3 months, I have been going to meetings and filling out paperwork to achieve the new name. Superior Bark is now Marquette’s Pets! I want people to know I am working with more than just dogs!

There will be a few other changes as well, but don’t worry! Every change I have made to the business will help me better service YOU (my client or potential client) and your pets!

For the next couple of weeks you will see: changes to my website, a new email address, Facebook name changed and new services! You will see flyers around town and I will be handing out new business cards!

"How does billing work and what type of payment do you prefer?"

Answer:
Daycare is usually paid after service.
Overnight care is paid before service.

If there are multiple dog visits in a week, we can set up prepay if you would like!

As for forms of payment...
I take cash, check or Venmo. The check would need to be made out to Samantha Spagnuolo and I use my personal Venmo account: -Spagnuolo-1.

EXCITING NEWS!
I (Sam Spagnuolo) have just signed up for the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters certification course!
In a few months I will be a Professional Pet Sitter!

Here is the description of the class:
"The NAPPS Certification Course is a broad-range and in-depth self-paced course covering all topics relevant to pet sitting, including pet care, health, nutrition and behavior for a variety of animals. It also includes business development and management, pet safety and a complete pet first aid course. The NAPPS Certification acknowledges that the pet sitter is a serious professional who has obtained a high level of expertise through his/her study. Once you have purchased the course, you will receive immediate access to begin taking the course. The deadline to complete the NAPPS Certification Course is 6-months (from date of purchase)."

Answer: Yes and No.

I allow pet cameras during daycare but not overnight care. I would love for you to have a camera during my daytime visit - it makes pupdates easier!
However, with overnight care, I do ask to unplug cameras for personal privacy reasons. ..
