Uhhh… surprise 🎉🥳 look who’s coming to the USA next week.

We will be whelping an amazing momma since I have no pregnant ladies right now I offered up our house for the big lady since clearly I love chaos.

I absolutely love whelping. If I could just whelp for people I would. It is so satisfying to revive a puppy and then see them get their first drink. Help the momma dog throughout the process. I honestly have a blast every single time. Probably that pre-vet side of me coming through 🤣

Luger (orange) is off to live on Long Island. He will have all these crazy farm animals as siblings & has BIG shoes to fill. He’s sweet & spicy. Super outgoing & is always down for a nap. Thanks Sam for being awesome throughout the process! Even offering to come help when I had to bottle feed this pack.

Since this litter was special to everyone I had a tough time naming them to a theme nothing was clicking. Christmas was so typical lol!

So I’ve come up with Mythology or Gemstones. Both rare & special names with fun meaning on each one. What do we think?! I put both name options for each puppy on here . So 18 photos 🤣

I do love c section baby being diamond hehe but also Selene since in mythology a symbol of mystery. Still a mystery how she survived in my mind.

Update: Good & Bad News (let’s go bad first) Bad: We lost one of our boys. The biggest one too, it sadly happens in litters and sometimes you have no idea why & as a breeder you sit and speculate but those first 72 hours are tough. There’s so many variables. Good: No one lost any weight over the last 24 hours. They are getting the hang of the milk bar so I can get 3 on at a time to eat . They are also now holding themselves up. Good: Ula has milk coming in. Not a lot but it’s coming in slowly. we have done everything to get it to drop. So now it’s just time to have everything kick in. Good: Ula is eating and drinking normally again & settling more. She was very anxious and wobbly yesterday. Today she actually seems like herself. Good: My miracle pup is thriving & oh so loud Good: I feel slightly better but I’m running on no sleep after 36 hours of whelping & then now feeding every 2 hours. I could use a reallllllyyy good nap. I seriously can’t thank everyone enough who have volunteered to come take shifts and help me. Calling & all the texts. You have no idea what that means. I love this community of friends & family I have built with all of you guys. I’ve been here before with a C section momma and it is a rough 3-4 days usually. We are almost through. Just praying our remaining 9 babies & Ula stay tough. Now enjoy the cute puppy noises 🥰

It’s mush day 😭 they are growing up so fast ! Buffy & Grim Reaper said the mush is so delicious they have to clean it all off 🤣 Also we started litter training so far so good! Only a few accidents off of it. So exciting that they are so smart to catch on before 3weeks old even.

The ladies enjoying the fall weather yesterday! We take pride in the fact our female dogs can get along. (Even multiple in heat below). Yes it takes a boat load of work & constant training but it makes the girls lives easier when everyone can get along and always be out together. Our new lady Cota fit right in usually takes a bit longer but she’s such a social butterfly she just ran into the pack like she’s been here forever. So thankful we got her! She’s going to fill In the void when Ula & Jaris go to their retirement homes. I always need a sable lady in our pack! 🍁🧡🐶

Look at these sneaks trying to get my dinner Featuring : Portia, Novella, Ulixis, Brenda, Nerea, Rome Only missing Jaris, Girly, Noodles, Sage who are out causing a ruckus outside 😂 Yes I have 10 girls. All get along with each other and live in the house with us. It’s chaos most days but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love my pack. & I love being able to know each of their personalities.
